This could be a nice club.........if it wasn't located in Grand Rapids. The new laws allow no tits being shown at all. All of the dancers were in the 7+ range but only one was friendly and one was a real bitch. Nice new facility but not worth the $4 weekday cover or anoter visit.

I went to Sensations yester afternoon to see the effect of the new Grand Rapids Ordinance. Sensations is complying with the new law by stripping to bikinis and no farther. The other observation was that only four girls were working (its been up to 6 or 7 on a day shift lately). The were only a handful of guys present, but that can be a hit or miss thing. The dancers present were April, Sarah, Cheyeanne and Angel. One of the dancers told me they are thinking about bringing the couches out again. They did this once many years ago. Lap dancing in GR even with a bikini on might not be all bad!

First of all, don't go there with expectations of high-mileage lap dancing. Go there with expectations of seeing some nice looking topless girls. Realtively young (nothing wrong with that) and generally pretty friendly. Two songs on the stage (first one in lingerie or bikini, then to topless on the second) followed by a "lap" around the joint offering topless two-dollar mini-dances. Went there Wedensday after work with a couple of fellas from work and we all had a pretty good laugh at each others expense. It's as innocent as being in a topless bar can be. I don't know why, but the girls all were sheeer nylons. From a distance of more than about a foot they appear to be bare legged, but if they rub in to you (which is not all that common) you'll notice they are wearing stockings. I'd sure rahter feel that firm soft skin but then I'd rather feel lots of things that are off-limits in the joint. I just enjoy seeing the gals wandering dancing around topless for thepatrons, it's kinda surreal. I give it an eight given the category.

I'm sorry, this club is awful. You get in, you find your seat, and the girls walk around trying to hustle for $1 air dances that don't last a full song. That's it. No lap dancing, no contact, whatsoever. Admittedly, this is Grand Rapids, the land of the Church on Every Corner, but still, all you get here is a flash of a girl's chest, no real conversation, no real anything. If that's all you want, I guess it's alright, but there are so many better places in the state.

Back to Sensations for a visit on a Saturday afternoon. The places was hopping for a Saturday afternoon. I talked to one of the Girls who said things were getting busier. There were about 7 girls on that afternoon. Most of them would be in the 7-8 range. Nothing has changed about the dances. Still, not a bad place to grap a beer, watch a game and have a topless girls stop by and twirl in front of you for a buck or two.

I have been to this club around 10 times over the last 10 years. Now Grand Rapids is neccessarily lame because of local conservatism. It is a nice place to go and have a few beers and see some descent eye candy. On my most recent visit I spent a little time talking to a tall girl named sienna who was mid 20's and thin. There are no couch dances here but just "air" dances at your chair. Compared to 10 years ago I would have to say the girls have gone down, in looks, at least a couple points. But 10 years ago I remember the girls being "sMoking" Hot. Nice club to kill some time with a couple beers.

I am a semi-regular at Sensations. I don't get there as often as I used tom but I stopped by during the day shift a few days ago. I saw some new talent, most it like the current talent, very young. Houston stopped by and chatted for a bit. All and all, this club is fun to stop in and say hi to the girls and get the infamouse Grand Rapids $1 twirl dance.

Sensations is a very interesting strip club, and having been to clubs across the country everywhere from Phoenix to Chicago I have to say that this is one of my favorites. I tend to go there on average once a week.

First of all, if you arrive before 6:00 PM there is no cover charge. After 6:00 there is a nominal $4.00 cover charge. Re-entry (without paying an additional cover) is not permitted and there is not an ATM on the premesis so be sure to bring plenty of cigs and cash with you. Although Re-entry is not permitted, if you are nice to the manager and he can see you are a good customer (i.e. tipping the girls, etc) he might let you leave to use the ATM or run to your car.

The dancers accept cash only and you can purchase drinks with cash or credit. There is a good food menu as well if you are arriving for lunch or dinner. I recommend the Coconut shrimp.

With all of that being said, I have found a really good time to arrive at the club is right at 5:00 pm. Dancers are required to arrive about an hour before their "shift" starts so around 5:00 you find all sorts of good looking, bored girls just sitting around, and most will take the opportunity to sit down and talk to you before they are scheduled to go on stage. Most of the girls who have sat down and talked to me are really sweet and beautiful. They can be characterized to some extent by saying that they are under 21, possibly living with their parents still, and trying to make money to go to the mall for shopping, etc.. If you like barely legal girls, this is definetly the place to go.

Drink Tip:

If you like Jager Bombs (Red Bull and Jagermeister) as much as I do, the best tip I have for you is to seperatlely order one can of Red Bull and order 2 seperate shots of Jager and then ask for two empty drink glasses. This winds up costing you approximately $6 for the can of Red Bull and $5 a piece for the shots or $16 for two Jager Bombs. If you order a Jager Bomb seperately be prepared to pay $12 for just one drink. Beers are reasonly priced at approx. $4.00 (Rolling Rock was $4.75 a bottle).



Stopped around 4:00 pm in to kill a little time this afternoon. Ten customers, approximatley the same number of gals. Definately quiet but it was pretty early. Girls are nice. 6-9's I'd say. If mileage is what you are looking for you took a wrong turn, however, if you just want a couple of cold ones and the view of a coulpe of hot ones then you shouldn't be too dissatisfied. I've never ordered food in a strip club before so this was my debut. Beats a burger at the BK across the street. I'm giving a 6 only because they wear pany hose (shear but there none the less) and the feelign of nylons when they are doing the 'air-dance' thing sorta ruins it for me. Too much like Hooters I guess. There seemed to be a pretty good variety of bodies, and builds so you should find something to you liking.

Not a bad place for Grand Rapids. For the most part the girls are 6-8. But I find that there we just to few girls working. I was there on Saturday night around 11:30 and there was only about 7 girls dancing. The $1 air dance is a little different from the clubs i am use to. I just wish that the girls would stop for a min. and maybe talk or have a drink but I guess with so few girls working they have to hussle to get to every guy for their dollar. the only other thing I would like to see is a private dance area.

All in all it was a nice place to have a beer and not spend much money.

I've been to this club on a feww occaisioons now. It has steadily improved in the quality of service and the food is better rhan several of the restauants in the area. The girls are generally aaattractive with at leasst 3 of them being stunning (Cody, Daniielle and Sarah) and several newer girls with lots of promise. (including Veronica, Justine and Samantha) The audience tends too be small and quiet, only rarelly showing the dancers the appreciation they deserve through applause or tips. When there is a resonsive audience, the girls kick it up several notches. One plus for this club is that the gitls tend to come out and sit with customers between sets without pressure for additiionql tips.

Where have all the dancers gone? Only 4-5 dancers working during the dayshift including Fridays. Only recognized a few of the dancers. Pretty much a whole new group and young. Other than that, the girls still do a three song set with one dressed and two topless. One one girl on the stage at a time. Used to be on Fridays they would have two girls on stage.

There continues to be no reason to go to this club. I only stop by on occasion when I'm in the area just to confirm it still sucks. Expensive drinks, terrible dancing and no couch dances. It must be thanks to the alcoholics of Grand Rapids that this place stays in business because it isn't for the entertainment.

Went to Sensations last night. Based on other reviews, was not expecting much. Granted the laws in Western Michigan are poor for the strip clubs, but the quality of dancers was good at this club. There was no lap dance, only dollar (or whatever the dance was worth) dances was offered. There is not space for private dances. The girls came around often and moved on when a negative on the short dance occurred.

Alcohol is served there, which is a redeeming quality. So, for a short air dance and a good place to drink a beer and watch cute girls topless, this is a good place. For anything more, no club here will get that for you. The club was clean and easy to find. Staff was very good.

If I ever get back to Grand Rapids, I'll go back, but won't expect more than a good place to have a beer and watch cute girls.

"Home of the $1 Air Dance", Sensations Showgirls somehow manages to make a topless club a very dull place. While the girls aren't unattractive (they're generally 5s and 6s), they are pretty uniformly disinterested in both their jobs and the patrons, and the rules in Grand Rapids make darned sure that they never do get interested in either one of them. There seem to be little 6" rulers (the required distance between dancer and patron) everywhere, and nobody is willing to bend those rulers. There also seem to be stopwatches in every dancer's possession, since they know precisely how long a table dance (not really a bargain, even at $1) should last. Sheesh! What a waste!! The Sound System at Sensations is good; the beer is cold (although they did manage to make a Sam Adams taste bad when I was there), but the club just never delivers. It's a good place to go for a couple of beers and a reasonable view, but not much else. If you want action, pack up the car, head down I-96 to Lansing, and go to Omar's. You'll drive a lot more, but the mileage will be worth it.

Decent place to spend an hour or less. I was there at shift change during he week. About 6-7 daytime girls and 8-10 night girls. The majority were reasonably attractive. The table dance are very short and very inexepensive. Absolutely no touching. Most of the girls wander around and do not sit and talk with the customers. The food was decent and the beer was $4.50. Not highly recommended.

This place is really bad. It really has nothing going for it except for the girls. The girls aren't all to bad. But, it doesn't matter. You can't touch them, and they really don't touch you. It's small, dark, smells like an ash tray. Just a dirty, waste of time. Basically all they offer is a $1 air dance from the girls as they make their rounds throughout the room. I guess, if you're on a $10 budget and want to see strippers, you could make this your stop. I would recomend just driving to Deja-Vu in Lansing or Kalamazoo.
