Trixies Gold Room & Knockout Sports Saloon are two seperate clubs occupying the same building. You have to go outside to go back and forth between the clubs though. The Gold Room has no alcohol and full nudity. Knockout has a full bar and topless dancers, but only after 8:00. They also have a limited food menu. Also note that Knockout has no cover charge unlike the Gold Room. If you pay to get into the Gold Room they will give you a wrist band that will let you go back and forth without having to pay again.

As suggested by the name the general theme of the club is a sports bar. They have TVs on every wall tuned to sport channnels. There are also two pool tables located against one wall of the bar. Like most neighborhood sports bars the place is a little run down and the clientele is for the most part blue collar.

They normally have 4 or 5 dancers after 8:00 on the weekends. Week days are a little hit or miss on when the dancers start and how many there are. Most of the dancers that I have seen there are white and natural, however there are exceptions to this rule. The average dancer rating would be between 5 - 7, much lower than next door. They use three small satellite stages in the center of the club connected by a narrow walkway. They usually have one or two dancers up at all times when the club is busy. They do their first dance clothed on the stage closer to the entrance and then rotate to the other stages and dance topless. Tips are usually rewarded with a classic boobie smashing. They do not do lap dances, but the girls will work the room for drinks and table dances. One last thing that I have noted is that this club seems to be very couple friendly. In fact I have seen tables full of women in there.

Overall this is not anywhere near the best strip club in town. However a full bar, topless women, no cover, and sports on wide screen TVs can be a good combination.

If you like thick black women, this is your place. If you like thick black ho's, this is really your place. The cab driver told me Hour Glass was one of the raunchier clubs in Lousiville - and he was right. But the neighborhood is not that sketchy and felt pretty safe. Got there about quarter to 10 pm and was told they don't open until 10. Let me in out of the rain anyway. Dancers didn't start going on stage until about 11.

After paying a $6 cover charge I was patted down (why do bouncers do that and not dancers?) Club is very small. Pool table right when you enter and a small bar behind that. Other side of the wall with the bar are two small fairly private lap dance areas that might hold 2 people each and the main club area. Stage is very small with about 6 square tables and chairs in front and half a dozen bar stools on the side. According to the girls, club has not set rotation and no set lap dance prices. Girls get up when they feel like it and dance a couple of dances mostly topless but showing lots of pink. Girls also set their own lap dance prices. I was quoted anywhere from $10 to $30 per dance and prices were quite negotiable. Dancer drinks are multiples of $14; most girls don't push them hard but will reward you amply if you buy one. ("Buy me a drink and I'll let you play with my pu**y.") About 8 girls were working on a Friday night, but only half that many customers most of the night. I was almost alone until midnight.

Club gets an 8 rating not because girls are the most beautiful or setting is clean and upscale, but because mileage is off the hook. Pretty much anything goes at the stage, in the seating area, or in the lap dance room. There's also a VIP room, but no one mentioned that or said what went on there. Lap dances are two-way full contact with lots of mutual manual and oral contact with intimate parts, going all the way to dining at the Y in one case. Extras (including outcall service) are readily available; I was offered bbbj for 50 and rear entry fs for 50 more, not something I chose to partake in with a stranger.

If you want an intense, high contact experience with some nice black ladies, definitely check out the Hour Glass.

Small, dark, smokey a great little club. I think it's only open Thrusday, Friday and Saturday nights. Even then, it looks closed from the outside, but don't pass it by. This club is happenin'! Inside you'll find some of the nicest African-American ladies around. Laps at your table are no set price. I usually gave the lady a five if she gave me a good dance.

Stopped by on a early Wednesday evening. Since it was close to the airport I thought I'd give it a try. Seems that the Goldroom is nude with no alcohol and the saloon next door is where you get drinks. I got lucky and was not charged for cover, seem they have a special from 6 - 10pm with no cover. There were only 4 girls on shift at that time and they ranged from 6-8. They also had a 2 for 1 nude lap dance special from 6 - 10pm. It was totally hands off, but got a decent grind. I'd give it another try before catching my flight next time.

I had the best time at this club while in Louisville, although no one is going to confuse it with clubs in Indianapolis or even Lexington anytime soon. Cover is rather high at $8. No alcohol is served on this side, however one can meander over to the bar on the other side for a drink and return. Inside is okay, although some new tables could be used. Couch dances are $20 topless and $40 nude, although they run 2 for 1 specials every now and then. Tip: Go on Sunday as it is 2 for 1 night. Plus a good selection of girls and only moderate crowds.

I visited Trixie's Goldroom monday night with friends and it was pretty empty. But wow.. lots of girls and they ranged from a 7 to a 9 and the lapdance was amazing, the dancer that gave me one was really into it.. plus if you go to the website, you can pickup some free passes for you and a friend! topless lapdances are $20 and are worth every penny. The model didn't try to take me for my money and made sure she waited for the next song to begin before she started the dance, and she made sure it was a long song.. Two thumbs up!

She seemed cool before and put on a good lap dance, but on this trip she kinda put out disinterested vibes, which should have warned me. So I got a dance and then decided to spring for the VIP room...big mistake and waste of $$$...she wouldn't sit on the couch I wanted to sit at but at another couch with cheesy porno pics playing in the background...dumb dumb dumb was what I was thinking to myself...she progressively got bitchier and more impatient finally doing her lame mostly air dance after about a half hour, very little contact.

Last stop on my tour of clubs Friday night - and I guess I saved the best for last! Got there a little before 10, bought my overpriced soda and grabbed a seat. Dancers like it there because they get a good cut. $10 from each $15 drink, $15 from the $20 topless dance, and $30 from the $40 nude dance. they also offer 1hr sessions for $135 topless or $215 nude. Dancers get about half from those.

anyway, I opted for the $20 topless dance (no - i'm not cheap, but why pay the extra when it feels the same?) from a HOT brunette with nice firm A-cups and fantstic nips named Michelle. Overall great experience and will be back. The onyl reason I didn't give the club a higher rating was for two main drawbacks: 1. as a guy said earlier, the hostess was RELENTLESS on bugging me to buy drinks and lap dances and so were most of the other dancers. 2. Worst part was the mens room. while it looked clean, the stench (urine? vomit? God only knows) in there was so bad I literally almost threw up when I walked in the door. I had to hold my breath the whole time i was in there.

This place has the strangest lighting that I've ever seen in a strip club. It mostly seems like your usual dimly lit SC, but then you go to a table and realize far above there are ceiling lights which send down a sharp, focused light that can almost hurt your eyes. At least this shoots down a beam by which you can rigorously evaluate the appearance of a dancer who approaches you, but I'm afraid that this type of light is pretty unflattering. Trixie's is supposed to have the prettiest girls, but none were really worth spending money on that I could see, early on this Saturday evening (although the girls were okay). We decided to try this club last weekend. We had heard it was comparable to PT's Showclub, which we really like. There were maybe 4 attractive dancers, nice bodies, and pretty faces, the rest of the girls were average, about what we expected. The private dance area is more private than PT's, which is nice. The dancers we spoke with were polite and fun. Can't say the same for the staff. The bartenders and waitresses are too pushy and money hungry. We prefer to spend our money on the dancers, thanks. I would only recommend this club, based on the dancers being friendly and attractive.

Arrived at the club at 8:25PM, Sunday, July 23, 2006. After paying an $8 cover and paying with a $20 bill, I received a $10 bill & two $1 bills in change. (this is going to lead to something) I ordered a $4 coke at one of the tables and layed out a $10 bill, receiving a $5 bill and one $1 bill in change. The layout of Trixie's is classy, like a Deja Vu club, but having their VIP area upstairs. They also have a shower show and fantasy show, but didn't inquiry about prices. I saw about a dozen other customers and about 10 dancers, ranging in appearance of 9s & 10s, very sharp looking ladies. There was no pushing for drinks or dances, but wasn't approached for any LDs either, so I departed the club at 8:45PM, spending less then $20. I rate this club at an 8 because of it's classy atmosphere, good looking dancers. I would return to this club if in the area again.

decided on the strength of reviews here to make this my L'vlle stop... went last evening, after the baseball game... about a dozen and a half women.. ranging on the low end... 6... to many 8's and 9's... there were more fine women in this club than anywhere but say "Treasures" in Houston... the club itself was pretty drab, torn chairs. torn couches.. crappy lighting on stage... but the women made up for it... the manager was an interference... but the bartenders were pleasant... less pressure to "buy the girl a drink" than MOST L'ville clubs... it was pretty good nude experience/// I saw NO evidence of Takee-Outee... nor any of relaxed men staggering out of the VIP area... Went to trixie's on a recent Saturday nite. Went to websight for free admission for 2. This was my 3 rd visit in recent years and best. Spent most of nite up by the stage getting dollar dances. There was a large group up by stage so your dollars last a while as girls go around stage dancing. This review is of my latest visit to Trixies Gold Room. I arrived at 8:00 on a Saturday night. The cover charge was $8.00. With this cover they will give you a wrist band that allows you to come and go all night without paying again. This is useful since they do not serve any alcohol on this side (the Sports Saloon has a full service bar). When I arrived there were about 30 customers and 15 dancers. The girls do a decent job of circulating the room but most of their vocabularys seem to be limited to "Would you like a dance?". The lap dances are very good, there is tons of one way contact and grindage. Note that they seem to be very strict on enforcing the one way policy. There is a whole fantasy menu of things at Trixies but the main two options are the topless lapdance ($20) and the full nude lapdance ($40). Contact is the same for both types of dances. Most of the girls will do a 2-4-1 on the nude even when the club is not running a special. I was there about an hour and a half and there were no 2-4-1's, but both girls that I had dances from offered it on the full nude. The dancers that night were all attractive and I was extremely impressed by the fact that all of the dancers that I saw actually put on quite a performance on stage. These days at most clubs the girls will wander around looking bored and waiting to collect their next tip. All in all i had a good time and would recommend the club.

Just left this club. Actually had such a bad experience I came right back to the hotel to write this review. It's currently 5:59pm. My girlfriend and I went to Knockout at about 4:15pm. We ordered the Mucho Nachos. It was described as Seasoned Beef, Nacho Cheese, Jalapenos, and Sour Cream on Nacho Chips. What we actually received was nasty can style Chilli, yes Chilli, with Nacho Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Sour Cream. There were no Jalapenos and Lettuce / Tomato was not listed. The whole thing was awful for $7.95.

After leaving there at about 5pm we went next door to Trixies. We were greeted at the door by a skanky ugly hostess who informed us that the cover would be $8 each before 6pm (which it was) and $12 after 6pm. The early bird cover was good all night. A plus I thought. I handed her my money and she asked if she could have a dollar each for her tip jar. I asked he why and she pointed to a picture of her two kids on the wall beside the cash register. Wow...

Venturing into the club we selected a table near the main stage. The girls all were good looking 7-9's I'd say. Some skiny and some not so. A little something for all tastes I suppose.

After a couple of songs the waitress came around. We argued briefly if it was the same girl that greeted us up front. She informed us that there was a one drink minimmum. Upon further investigation this is actually a one drink per hour minimmum. Keep in mind there is NO ALCOHOL in this club. How much Coke can a person drink? The real kicker... The Cokes are $4 each.

What the hell are you doing here dancing or waiting tables? After arguing for a few minuites about whether or not I was actually going to tip her or not (NOT) she gives me my $2 and walks away.

She returns a few minutes later with our drinks, slams them down on the table, and says, "you'll need your two dollars, have fun!" and hands me two more dollars. Dumb Ass! We didn't try the drinks giving how pissed she was making them.

If this is not enough she goes over to a regular at a near by table. Aparently explains to him what has transpired, and slips him a dollar so he can tip her in front of us. She pulls up her shirt and gives him a "boobie shot." He tips her the dollar that she gave him and says to him, "Thats more than THEY gave me."

This was the point in which we left our drinks untouched and walked out.

I suggest avoiding this club like the plauge. It was like watching naked women in a homeless shelter.

Here's a tip. If you want a tip from me the best way to get it is earn it not ask for it.

Parking is kind of scarce.

PROS: Most girls are hot and care about thier jobs as entertainers. I want the dancer to want to be dancing. I have had a few that this what not the case. Dollar dances are cool. The overall atmosphere of Trixies Gold Room is far superior to clubs in Louisville where you can indulge in beer or two. Softdrinks are served with a smile from a cocktail waitress who will raise more than your eye-brow if you give her a tip. The women who will parade on one of three stages will show all that they were endowed with. Some ladies have an enhancement but enough are all naturale. They are hot too. Blondes, redheads, and burnettes who will be happy to take you by the hand show you they can work tricks on your pole. The girls also have a girl/girl show that you just wish you were one of their tongues. Of course they are not against giving you a kiss and sharing a taste. There is a sports bar next door with food,drinks, big screen tvs, and a few ladies who will dance but they aren't totally nude,and never will be. This club is consistantly better than a lot of clubs in the Louisville area on any given
night. It is conveniently located on Preston Highway a major thoroughfare, and near the interstate. Couples are welcome esp. on Sat. night. Women like to see their men getting a good view and plenty of ladies have their man get a woman dance on their table top so the can get a quick lick in. The music go from dance, hip hop, rock, and country. The ladies have a dj run their music. It is always changing and with three stages you always have a choice in hot ladies to view. The girls do something special for batchelor parties, or a special birthday. Must be 18 to get in Gold Room and 21 to get in the Sports bar, be sure to bring your ID and plenty of ones for the tip rail if you want to see it all up close an personal. See you there.

Trixies is the best club in Louisville. I have been to PT's and this one. Don't waste your time at the others. Trixies strip club part is all nude. I had a dance this past weekend where the dancer (name??) actually wrapped her "lips" around my stiffy. Awesome. This was the second time to this club and will not be my last.

Get on their website and get them to send you a free pass to defray the $8 it costs to get in. You get free admission and one other person. Save the $ for the girls.

The girls will hound you for dances. be prepared. All shapes and sizes in this club. Some HEAVY girls with huge tits, some tiny girls with small tits (Gwen) and everything inbetween. Girl with star tat on her back is a must. She got me going. There is a girl who always dresses like a school girl. She may be the most flexible girl in the town. Her dances are unreal. Must partake of this little thing.

Dances are nude for $40. Wait. Wait until they are 2-4-1. I have had luck with telling girls that "I only pay for 2-4-1 dances." If they know you have the cash, they will give you it then. Be forward with them about it.

Visited on Monday 11/8. There's the typical admission charge and then only non-alcoholic beverages although they have a full service bar next door with food. They had about 12 dancers which was about as many as there were watching. They have 2 stages but only the main stage was in use. The dancers ranged from 5 to 8 in quality and all were more than willing to show it all up close and in your face for a $ or 2 on stage during their last song when they wear only 'shoes and a smile'! They offer table dances on their lighted tables and several couch/lap dances including nude full contant laps for $40 per song. On slow nights like this many girls offer 2-for-one even if the DJ hasn't mentioned it recently and you can ask if the dancer of your choice dosen't offer. All in all an enjoyable evening when Monday Night Football has teams I'm not interested in.


Visited both the nude & the topless sides on 9/20. Only about 10 girls on either side, 2-3 were low 7's, rest went down to 4. Considering it was a Monday nite & most of the guys were more into the football game than the girls, it was an okay evening. I have to admit that I am curious what the Fri-Sat girls look like, so another trip will be in order.

Trixies Gold Room & Knockout Sports Saloon are two seperate clubs occupying the same building. You have to go outside to go back and forth between the clubs though. The Gold Room is full nudity and no alchohol. Knockout has a full bar and topless dancers but only after 8:00. I have visited both clubs and this review is of Knockout. There is no cover charge for this bar, unlike next door. They normally have 4 or 5 dancers after 8:00. The dancers average about a 5 or 6, much lower than next door. They use two small satellite stages connected by a narrow walkway. They usually have two dancers up at all times. They do their first dance clothed on the stage closer to the door and then rotate to the second stage and dance topless. Tips are usually rewarded with a classic boobie smashing. They do not do lap dances on this side, but the girls will work the room for drinks. The dancers usually spend all of their time with regulars so it can be tough to get their attention. I would rate the Gold Room an 8 and Knockout a 4, for an average of 6.

I was there on a Wednesday @8:30pm. My buddy and I were the only ones in the place...Some of the chicks were hot, got hit for dances in a timely fashion. The girls were pleasant if you did not want one. I should probably hit this club again sometime just for a 2nd chance. It was pretty wierd being the only ones there. I got a dance from a hot trailer-park looking girl, I think she was new because my balls still hurt from the smashing/grinding of her ass. Way too hard. My buddy got a dance from a chick and just about got sick half-way through it. Apparently the chick had a stinky ass and kept sticking it in his face. Probably will visit a different club next time I'm in town.

Had some free time last weekend so I thought I would check out Trixies. If you check their site on the web, you can get a free admission pass and save a few bucks. Plenty of new talent since I had been there. Trixies continues to have very pretty dancers that go totally nude and give you a great view. My only complaint - the dancers don't seem to be happy with a $20 topless lap dance. They were all pushing for the $40 nude lap dance - way too steep for my pocketbook. As always, there is no touching either way, but Trixie dancers always give you a good hard ride. The DJ is a little quick stopping the songs, so the dances are not full length. But with a free pass, a $20 topless dance is a good buy.

This place is actually 2 clubs. The Gold club is no alcohol, but full nudity, the sports bar is topless, but has alcohol. I like to see everything, so I went to the Gold Club. I was there on a Monday and things were pretty slow.

The Good: Action on the stage was non-stop. A lot of good looking girls (I only saw one fat, ugly one). For $1 you can get a close-up look at all the goods the girl has to offer and get some boobies in your face. When I left I didn't smell like an ashtray. I tried a 2-1 $40 nude lap dance. Unlike most places I have been that offer nude dances, this was actually a real nude lap dance. The girl takes everything off and will give you a lap dance, rubbing her bare pussy all over your crotch. There was a lot of grinding. If you do this, make sure that the girl will do a 2-1, since $40 is pricey for one song. They don't cut the songs short like Deja Vu does. Don't expect any extras.

The bad: The stage was pretty dark. Constant pressure for dances. Forget about touching the girls during the dance.

Overall: This is the first club that I have been to in Louisville and was impressed. The nude lap dance made my night!

The good news is the new ordinance has been overturned for now and Trixies is open again. My review includes visits before & after the ordinance. The club is full nude and no alcohol. I found it annoying that after I paid an $8 cover to get in that I was required to buy one soft drink per hour at $4 a pop. They run a number of 2-4-1 ld specials especially before 9:00. Topless lap dances are $20 & nude are $40. Most girls push the nude ld and say that the 2-4-1 only applies to the nude. I had a couple nude lds with different dancers and the grinding varied from moderate to heavy. Contact was one-way only. No-touching signs were posted throughout the club and the bouncer stood outside of the ld area the whole time. In addition to the lds they offered a variety of other fantasy sessions. There was a menu of services on each table in the club. Hustle for dances was fairly heavy. The dancers at the club were a mixed group. I saw two absolutely perfect 10's dancing there and I have seen a few girls that sent me next door for a beer. Overall the quality is pretty good.

This club has at least temporarily closed. A new ordinance for adult entertainment went in to affect yesterday. This ordinance puts in place a 6' rule between customers and dancers. This pretty much bans lap dancing and directly tipping the dancers. The ordinance also forces clubs to close earlier as well as other restrictions. The Owner of Trixies was quoted in the paper today that he is going to wait and see how the court challenges to the ordinance go before he decides on reopening. I think it is important that we stand up to this challenge to our freedoms and support the remaining clubs and most importantly excercise our right to vote.
