Made another trip to Topeka this weekend and went to Sasnak. This review is a composite of two visits, one Saturday afternoon, and one early evening, between which I had dinner. Saturday afternoon, in general, wasn't that good. They had 4 dancers, with 3 ignoring me, and 1 leaving shortly after I left. I was bored and was going to leave for good, but I decided to eat dinner elsewhere, avoiding their free hot dogs, and came back in the evening a couple hours later. It was quite a bit different. Only one of the previous dancers was there, but the ones in the evening were better. But I was getting flirtatious with the bartender, and the bartenders can give VIPs, so I got one from her, which was incredible.
The only negatives with the club rating is that the bathroom was a breeding ground for bugs, and some of the chairs and tables need to be replaced. As for the dancer rating, while I generally liked the dancers, at least in the evening, some of them could stand to lose some weight and the one I liked most probably needed to lose the most. On the other hand, if they did lose weight, they'd probably end up elsewhere. As for $value, it is still only $10 for a regular dance, and $20 for the VIP, except they make you pay $10 every time you go to the VIP, which I'm not fond of.
This club is very dificult to find. And I thought that the dancer that gave me directions was out of her mind but it is really there. I assume since it's been over 2 years, things may be different. This club has gone through some tough times with lawsuits so I don't know if it's still the same owners but the club is still going.
There is a stage in the center of the room surrounded by arena style seating all around. I don't know what this place was before it was a strip club but it sure looks strange. The lap dances are done on bench style seating and a light turns on above the seat. If any action it happens in the VIP room.
I was here earlier this week in the afternoon. This is apparently the place to go in Topeka after work is done for the day, because there were about 30 people in there. A good portion of them, however, are people who either don't leave the bar area, or they are there to play pool, which is always being played there, all the times I've visited. The dancers can leave a lot to be desired physically (someone I know once said "At Sasnak, they have all three kinds of dancers: big, bigger, and biggest"), but I don't get scared away by that. Part of the reason I like Sasnak is the fact it is the only place I know about with $10 lap dances. They also have a VIP area for $20. I also like the fact most of the girls (at least the day I went) accept their tips by having you place your dollar bill in your mouth and accepting it at the Y. Also, beer is cheap, or at least cheaper than I'm used to, and if you only want a soda, it comes in a large plastic container. They also have no cover.
I don't think anything important changed since my last review of this place. But they had much better girls, or at least girls who were into it. I had a lap dance with all the ladies except for a black dancer who didn't do anything for me and seemed to be all about the after hours fun to be had. They didn't have any seriously old dancers, unlike last time, but a couple could be considered fat. But like the one girl said, "there's more of me to love, and you'll want to love me". So if you don't like em big, I can see you giving a lower rating, but if you like fun girls this is the place to be.
Stopped by this club last evening during my trip to the Topeka clubs. I wound up here about 7pm on a Wednesday and the place was pretty dead. There were about 10 girls in the place, though, which was nice given that there were only about 7 guys. The atmosphere is pretty nice based on the other Kansas clubs I've seen. It's like a big sports bar with comfy chairs and nice lighting. It's also pretty clean and modern looking. However, as seems to be the case with a lot of the Kansas clubs, the girls tended to stay with the regulars, not even bothering to come up and ask for a dance. I stayed there about an hour and was never approached, except by two older (40+) Philipino women who sat down and complained about the lack of business they were getting. I am not suprised with that approach. Normally I like the Asian girls, but these two were very unappealing due to their complaining. When they figured out I was not going to drop any $$ o nthem they promptly left and never came back. Also, one of the pointed out some of the other dancers, complaining about how "fat" she was...not good. There were a few brand new dancers there, one of whom was being trained by another dancer while on stage. The music was stopped a few times while the older girl showed the new one how to dance. Kind of odd, really. In between song sets there were sets of "break songs", one or two songs with no dancer on stage. Ostensibly these are used to get the girls circulating but it didn't work. Again, I can't rate the laps, as the two girls I'd have gotten them from stayed in the VIP room with their regulars the entire time. VIP itself is behind a closed door, so pretty private. If I were to come back I'd go on a weekend and wee what happens. Nice atmosphere but no action whatsoever.
Please exuse wrong spelling - doing this on my phone.
I'm kind of a regular and an annual VIP member. This place definately has the best owner, Leo, from a client/customer point of view. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Way more than any place I've ever been. I'm very about driving after too much to drink. He allows me to nap in the parking lot after closing. Many others have run me off in that situation. Additionally, no doubt the best looking and friendliest wait staff anywhere - spwcifically, Alexis, Shannon and Bree. WOW, Bree will even give dances after she gets to know you and on the right night.
As far as the dancers go, there has been a lot of turn over lately. The new dancers are nice though. The regulars that remaim are as nice as any place in KS. They could use more dancers though.
The dances - YMMV according to the dancer definately applies.
Visited for the first time on a Tuesday night. The place is very large, I would say it could easily hold 2-3 hundred people. On this night there were probably only 6 girls working and 10-15 guys. The girls were ok (5-8's). Service was so-so at the best considering how slow it was.
Had VIP dances at $20 and seemed to be anything goes?? I would have to visit more often to give a real review, but from what I saw and experienced! It was fun, but always felt like someone was watching me closely.
This is a fairly decently sized club in eastern Topeka, which is a little out of the way. They had some decent dancers and I got a VIP dance with one of them and she was alright, but she wanted to talk more than dance, and I prefered the opposite. And the VIP wristband is a little too much at $20. On the other hand, the bartenders were hot, so that's got to count for something.
Visited on a weekday in the late afternoon. About 3-4 dancers were there but none were dancing, just sitting around talking to the customers. Had some nice LD with Fawna, an old favorite. The $20 wristband fee is still too high. The bartender was a cutie. As the night shift came on I see that Skye has returned. She can be a real pest. Oh well, can't win them all. This place seems to be holding its own while others in the area seem to be going down.
Last night was the first time I have been in this club on a Friday. Arrived around 5pm and stayed 2.5 hours. The nice thing about that timing is that I saw the tail end of the day shift and the start of the night shift. Many of the day favorites were there, namely Rain and Kobe. At times Kobe can be difficult to track down for a dance, but once you get her attention, it is remarkable! Good drink prices and a nice amount of dancers made for a good early evening.
Was here on a weekday afternoon. Few customers and fewer dancers. Only 3 dancers, one of whom was completely monopolized by some rube spending money like there was no tomorrow. Another dancer tells me he is somewhat crazy. Must have inherited some big bucks.
As has been mentioned in other reviews, this place is like a big barn, very open. Wait staff was OK, nothing out of the ordinary. Sat at the bar and nursed my usual 7UP. One dancer completely ignored me and as I said before, one was occupied with the big spender. The third, I had met at another club in the area some time ago. She remembered me so came over and we had a nice talk. Decided to try the VIP dance area. House fee for VIP is $20, that's much too high. Anyway, Fawna and I had a few dances in VIP which is monitored by camera's. Lots of mutual touching but no skin to skin. Camera fear. Fawna is nice to talk too, doesn't smoke, and gives you hope for the future.
Raven, the dancer with the big spender, is older but very well preserved.
This place is in an odd part of town and has never lived up to its potential.
