The "better" of the two clubs in town. Big dance floor, great looking women, reasonable prices, and, an all-around good time. Yes, I'll be back!

Visited Club back in March since the Illinis smoking ban has is in force the talent here has diminshed. Still a nice place to go but attendance seems off the number of girls down. Great stage dances though. I recomend trting going later say after 11Pm.Prior to the smoking ban this place rocked with many female guests getting it on with strippers making for some very HOT stage shows. I'll try again later after the smoke setles and the girls come back.

Was in the LaSalle area and looking for something to do. Had to drive to Ottawa, a little further than I thought, but well worth the trip. This place is just off I-80. There is not much else around. Kind of like a truck stop area. The place is very clean inside, but had that rustic, country feel, and was very happening on this Friday night. When you enter, the bar is on the left. The bartenders were topless and very attractive. The seating area and dancers were to the right. I decided to sit at the bar for a while to check out the scenery. And there was some great scenery to take in. I would say that I only saw one or two on the low end of the scale, most were 8s and 9s. The price of the drinks were very reasonable, so I stayed there most of the night. I did not take anyone up for a lap dance but did enjoy the view from my seat. I would recommend this joint if you are in the area. I had a good time.

I was here recently and still consider it one of the best around. This is mostly due to a number of hott women who dance here. There is no contact during the dances but its not an issue with me because I go to have a few beers and tip stageside. These are some of the best stage shows anywhere period. One of the dancers, Sugar, is the best stage dancer I have ever seen and she will draw a crowd at the stage. The lighting is good too so you can actually see what you want to see.

This place is great. I love the cover it not overpriced. $6 or $4 if you have a CDL.
Also, I believe if you get there before like 5:30 p.m. it's free (no cover). The price on the drinks were fair. I was there on a week night and it was very slow, only about 9
people in there. Which i didn't think was to bad because the girls would come around
trying to talk you into dances and what not. Sometimes they would just come sit down with you and talk. I met up with another trucker friend there and we had one girl that
sat with us most of the night. I had two dances with her and they were very good. That was $30. I would say there were about 15 girls in there on a slow Weds night. They had something for everyone. All kinds of differant hair and skin color.
The one thing i did not like was that the songs were only aloud to play for 3 min each and then it would change to the next song. So some songs you and the dancer where just getting into to and it would just stop in the middle and goto the next one. Also, eavh dancer only got 2 songs per set, with 3 min songs that only gave each girl 6 mins to get completly naked and try to get tips. I thought that was a little much. At least let them have 3 songs when you put time limit on the songs. I did not understand that part.
Over all though i had i great time at this club.

SSS is a nice place, much bigger than lamplighter (the other ottawa joint) and SSS probably has more girls and they are younger and better looking. If your a young guy, SSS is better for you. If your 40 or older and prefer it a little quieter, LL is better for you. Come real early, like before 4pm and no cover, otherwise $5. Nightly drink specials which can save you some $.

Checked out the SSS the other night. This club is one of the most consistent clubs around. That can be good or bad depending on your expectations. First, its an absolutely no touch club. The dances are more air than touch. Sometimes a really good dancer will put the goods real close. Close enough that you can reach out and touch it with your tongue, but that would quickly get you thrown out. The girls are pretty attractive. A few 7's, 8's. even a couple of 9's. Its kinda surprising that the quality is high because it is in Ottawa. There are great drink specials, 2.50 a beer daily, shot specials, etc...nobody will bother you much if you don't want them too. Just hang out at the bar and enjoy the show. Like I said, this place is virtually always the same so if you go and like it that what you will always get.


A recent visit to the Slipper was pretty nice, for being a Sunday night. They had the projector on playing the Bears game, to which it seemed most of the people were watching rather than the strippers. There were about 8 ladies working. Primarily only white girls and 2 black girls (if anyone cares to know the ethnicities of girls that were working). I would say the ranges of girls were from about 5-6's to 8 or 9's. Nothing special, but nothing horrible. Some that I remember (I am bad at remembering their names) were: Alex, mid-upper 20's, great body, bit of stretch marks, but in great shape, great tits even though I prefer natural, a few tattoo's here and there, probably the best/hottest working that night - gives a pretty nice lapdance; Jersey, also pretty hot, but maybe a bit too skinny for me, sexy body, nice little natural tits with left nipple pierced, pierced navel and quite a few tattoos, hot but seemed really uninterested - decent "private dance" but once again, seemed very uninterested; Melissa, decent looking, pigtails, nice body, bit of extra chub in the abdomen, but overall nice dancer, nice body - really nice lapdance, but unfortunately started in the middle of a song, and if you've been there before, you know they cut the songs down to 3 minutes, so kind of was ripped off. Besides them, I don't remember any names. One girl had a decent body, but unfortunately had some pretty scary teeth; the rest were decent, but primarily in the 5-7 range.

Overall I definitely enjoy going here still, it easily beats the Lampliter, and the next closest (I believe) is Heartbreakers in Compton, which is only topless. So, this is definitely the most preferred.

This was my first strip club experience. The girls are all pretty much hot and have their own style, although they are all white with a few hispanic. There were three poles with round stages, and the girls would go to each station after each song. The first pole was with clothing, and would take a piece off after they moved to the next station. Eventually they were nude and would put their titties in your face for only a dollar. One girl kissed my neck and face, and she smelled so good, that i kept going back to her. I got a lap dance, and I was told because I'm a girl, more touching was allowed. She fake fucked me and got pretty creative within a songs length. I went with my friend and it was her birthday. They put her on stage and took her top off. It cost 60 dollars, and it is the same for a batchlor to get put on stage.
Alot of the girls were young and hot. Only one stripper was in no way attractive, she had a blond wig and didn't know how to put make up on. She had small tits, so I couldn't figure out why she was there. Some of the girls had really curvy asses. There is such a great variety of girls here, and they all had nice personalities, and smiled and stuff.


This Club Continues To Be My Favorite In Illinois!
Here is why:
Reasonable six dollar cover charge. (four dollars if you have a CDL)
Fun, Friendly, Unobtrusive staff. They enhance rather than detract from the fun.
Reasonable Drink Prices from a well stocked bar. (3.50 - 5.50)
The women all 7.5 and up and friendly!
The dances are twenty dollars and worth every penny with the right girl. (Some of the right girls that I have found are Toni, Haley, Sugar & Jasmine. You ladies rock!)

Girls are mostly hot...go on a Monday or Wednesday for the best time...fewer customers and the women will give you more attention. There are actually more than a few smart women there if you want more than a pretty face. Good value for the lap dances...they are fully nude and only 20 bucks. This club is unlike most, because the staff is friendly and the beer is cheap. Always a beer and alcohol special going on.

I was there today around 5p.m. There were 12 customers including myself. As mentioned before, the service was less than stellar. The bartende was clearly more interested in talking to her friends.

Club = 8: The decor is decent and the place is clean. There are 2 stages, with another small bar in the back. I assume the 2nd smaller one is used when it is busier. The main stage has 2 poles. The "privte" area upstairs is darker and screened, but anyone in the DJ booth can see what's going on. The music was not too loud, decent selection of classic and current hits, and I could understand the DJ. The layout is better than most clubs. There are comfortable chairs all around the main stage, at the few low tables by the bar, and the big tables in the back and around the second stage. And there is plenty of room, not everything cramped together.

Girls = 5: I watched 5 dancers. 7,9,5,5,4. There was a 6th girl there, but I'm hoping she wasn't a dancer. Kelly was the only one worth mentioning: medium height, toned body, medium length blond hair, nice B-cups, and smokin' hot in that school-girl skirt with nada underneath. Nice moves, easily earned her tip money, and SMART. Had a conversation after her set. Amazing!

Overall, could've been a 6 or 7. I gave a 7 because it has potential if busy and real talent shows up. I didn't bother with a private dance, as other reviewers were pretty clear about the quality. The other reviews were right about the no touching rule, so I assumed they were right about everything else.

I would stop again if passing through, but would not plan to make an evening of it.

This is the closest club to where I live and I have only been to a couple of other area clubs and this is by far the best one. The girls are mostly decent looking, at least, and have a nice full bar. Compared with the other closest clubs to me (Heartbreakers and Lampliter) this one beats them all out of the water.

Many girls seem very friendly and will play along with games and things. Most all of them will act friendly rather than just getting up on the stage and leaving... no interaction. Also, most of the lap dances I have gotten have been pretty damn good.

I'd go here next time before most anywhere else.

This is probably the best club in Illinois! I know that isn't saying too much, but without a overly long drive choices are limited.

The Silver Slipper is just off of the highway. In fact they have a huge lot and are a destination for truckers. Do not let that dissuade you. Stop in you'll be pleasantly surprised at the decor. The cover is six dollars and the drinks are in the four to six dollar range. Beer is somewhat cheaper and they always have specials.

The bathrooms are clean, the furniture comfortable, and the staff some of the friendliest I have ever encountered. But the real reason to go here are the women. Some of the hottest, (6-9), most eager to have a good time ladies you will ever meet. The dances are on the tame side because the club is located in crappy Illinois. One way contact from the dancer to you -- strictly enforced.

Check this place out, you will not be sorry.

stopped by here again recently and still like the atmosphere and the overall experience of this club. There were a couple of negatives, though. There is too little interaction by the dancers with the customers. Most of them will be real quick to sell a dance and then be on their way. Sometimes this can be fine, other times it's like where is the friendliness? They just seem kinda mechanical. Other than that, the women here are usually pretty attractive and the stage shows are good. The lappers are a little bit better than the stage shows so don't expect a whole lot there. The beer is reasonable with the daily specials and so is the cover charge of 6bucks. SSS will probably always be a good stop if you are in the area.

I recently celebrated my birthday at the SSS with my husband and my best girlfriend. My husband & I have been to this club several times before, weekend and week nights and have never been disappointed. This visit was on a Thursday night. We were slightly concerned when we first got there, because the main stage was closed and only the smaller secondary stage was in use. (We came to find out that the main stage had just been refinished to prevent slivers, ouch.)

Our concern was very quickly relieved. We found a table and were soon approached by Sugar who is one of our favorites. She sat and talked with us for a few minutes and promised to return after we had a chance to relax a little bit.

We had a couple of drinks and tipped at the stage a bit. There were about 10-12 girls working and wow, they were all really HOT! There were mainly men in the audience with maybe 1-2 other female customers in the club.

We each received several private dances from Sugar, Jasmine and Jade over the course of the night and had a fabulous time as usual. The girls are always so nice and friendly and it is a very female customer friendly place as long as you follow the rules and don't try to touch the girls.

My girlfriend was from out of town and was blown away by the hot girls, comfortable atmosphere and all around great time we had. The only disappointment was that Toni and Haley weren't working that night.

My husband and I are looking forward to our next outing to the Silver Slipper. My girlfriend is coming back to town in September and she has already marked a visit to the Silver Slipper on her itinerary.

The drinks were a generous pour as usual and the waitress service was great. Stage shows, even on the small stage were very entertaining.



I dropped in the SSS about 10 PM on a Thursday evening. Other reviewers have accurately described the physical layout. Ther were about 12 -15 dancers and 35 - 40 customers in the place.

The good news: the light levels were better than most clubs, you can actually see what's going on around the stage. Most of the girls are nice looking, generally ranging from 5s to 8s. Drinks are not terribly expensive with beers ranging from $2.50 (specials) to $4.

The Bad news: The songs are cut to 3 minutes. Girls on stage do 2 songs, half of them did NOT get fully nude. When not on stage about a third of the girls hung out in the dressing room and most of the rest worked the room pushing dances - no sit and visit - no conversation - just, "wanna' dance?" A very few of the girls stopped to visit with customers.

The dances here are barely more than air dances. Customers are not allowed to touch the girls AT ALL! the girls do get nekked but are closely watched by a nearby bouncer to make sure that they don't grind or allow "inappropriate contact." $20 for 3 minutes of looking just seems a bit too steep to me!

Definitely the best club in the area. It looks like a saloon from the outside and is very roomy inside. Easily located just off of I-80. There is a topless bartender everyday from 12-4pm and no cover til 4, then it is 6bucks. There is one long stage dancers can walk back and forth on and a smaller stage is used also when they get really busy. The atmosphere is casual with sort of a saloon feel, definitely not a high-end genlemans club sort of feel at all. Dances are given on the upper level overlooking the whole place and there is even a bar upstairs for if they get really busy, although I've never seen it used. The dances are all nude and pretty good. there is no roaming of the hands allowed but most of the girls will give you lots of contact. Now the best part. The dancers here are usually very attractive and there are all sorts of girls. Stage shows are good, lighting is excellent, there are drink specials daily. Has a lot of trucckers stop in due to its location on the interstate but there are all types and its a real friendly, fun place.


My husband and I went on a date to the Silver Slipper Monday Oct. 30, 2006. We had a great time. The atmosphere is light and fun and there were at least 10 dancers working. All of the girls were very good looking and most of them were very friendly. There were about 30-40 customers in the club with about 5-6 other couples. We arrived at about 10:00 pm and were approached by a dancer within 5 minutes of when we sat down. She chatted with us for a few minutes and said she would let us relax and have a drink and would come back in a little while if we would like. We talked to a few more dancers and chose to go upstairs and get a private dance from Toni. What a great time. She was so hot and really likes to dance for couples. I am actually very shy and she made me feel so comfortable that I was really able to relax and enjoy myself. My husband and I (mostly I) got several dances from Toni. The contact was good, and she really knows how to play to the husband too while dancing for the wife. I can not recommend Toni enough!! She was so friendly and fun. The stage shows were good and the crowd was pretty mellow and polite. This club is very couples friendly!! The mixed drinks were a generous pour and even though they didn't have a waitress working the floor, the bar tender would try to service the tables as well as the bar. The staff at this club really tries and manages to provide good service. The bouncers were polite and not overly uptight. Overall, we had a really great time and will be returning to the club again. We will also be calling ahead to see if Toni is working. I hope that you find this review helpful.
