Up until now nobody has reviewed the Backseat. Its not the best strip club in the world, but Pesacola doesn't have great strip clubs in general, so you take what you can get. This club is located on Cervantes St. Anyone from Pensacola can tell you storys about the area. This is where a lot of hookers post up. The club kind of reflects the area, because its really dark and feels dirty. The girls I've came arcoss inside are usually binge drug users and easy to get to know outside of the club although on first contact, most will tell you they have boyfriends. The club is toppless only and the drinks are overpriced. Most of the dancers are white with a couple of black dancers every now and then. There are usually cops outside the club. I'm not sure about VIP dances, but there is a billards room in the back which you can enjoy with the dancers if they are willing. Most are.
Still my favorite club when in town on business. Club seems small, and always seems crowded around the dance floor. The dancers are always an interesting mix of different ethnic groups, body types, and styles of dancers. Can be hard to get the attention of what usually seems to be a challenged serving staff, and I almost always end up going the self-serve route for beverages at the bar. However, it is easier to get the attention of the dancers. Private dances are done in the back, around a corner, more secluded from the bar, the dance floor, and most of the crowd. The most fun, still, is in the VIP room. In most clubs I don't pony up the extra fee for entry, but here, after a private dance or two, I have been able to negotiate with dancers to get reasonable admission. There, I have been very happy with the performances.
Was here early yesterday afternoon. There were a couple of good looking dancers, but no chemistry. There was more action going on at the pool table than the rest of the club. I left after one beer because I just couldn't get into it.
Club was very crowded for a Thursday night. Downside was that it was hard to get a drink - had to basically go to the bar for self serv, since waiting on the one waitress would take all night. Wide variety of dancers, white, black, Asian, Hispanic - but almost all very attractive and able to dance (the two don't always come together). Stage dances were to full-length songs, and tips were well-rewarded. Couch dances in back were better than any I have had between Tampa and Houston, and a trip to the VIP with a certain older but experienced dancer was well worth the investment. Now I just have to find a reason to go back to Pensacola.
This is a cookie cutter strip club, just like all clubs in Pensacola. However, the ladies are generally knock outs compared to the other clubs around town. There is usually a mix of military and local patrons on any given night. The lighting is good and the lap dances are as good as you get in a town that doesn't allow nude dancing. Most of the girls have implants and great bodies. There is a $5 cover most nights and they like you to buy drinks, but generally, what strip club doesn't. There is a good variety of girls, (white, black, asian) and the music varies from girl to girl. Its a nice club to hang out at with friends, shoot pool, or go have a few drinks with a business associate after work.
Exterior:
Your typical strip club exterior with a purple padded door. I have never had toruble with parking, even at peak hours.
Interior:
The inside of the club seems much smaller than the exterior lets on. The bouncer is situated directly inside the front door. Behind him starts the bar with a couple of video poker games and a TV at one end. To the right is the main dance floor with plenty of tables and chairs around the perimeter, the mid section and chairs lining the main dance floor. Farther in, connected both to the bar and main dance floor is a smaller and less used dance floor (usually only used on busy nights) and a pool table. Finally, this leads you into the private dance area. There a couple of pool tables at the opposite end of the chairs and couches. There is also a dance floor here, but it is unused. Connected to the private dance room is the VIP room, though I have yet to experience that.
Bartenders/Cocktail Waitresses:
I have yet to see anyone who works these jobs who isn't gorgeous! The bartenders serve up some great drinks and the cocktail waitresses are very friendly and prompt with your order.
Dancers:
This is a smaller club so on a busy night there are usually only 20 dancers at most, at slower times I have seen as few as 8. Most of them are usually very attractive, but there are always some that are not pleasing to the eye. But, nonetheless, all I have encountered are very personable and easy to get along with. Around half will ask for dances, but others you have to prompt. Table side lap dances (dollar dances) are usually very much worth it, and give a great idea as to what will happen at a private dance. I'm sure some do things on the side, but I'm not into that sort of thing.
Clientele:
Pensacola is home of a Naval base and therefore this place is frequented by plenty of Navy guys. There are also your fair share of fresh-out-of-H.S. wannabes since this club does cater to 18+. Still, it's a nice cozy place and a great place to get away.
This is the first strip club I ever attended and it holds a small place in my heart. :)
Club looks bigger on the outside but really isn't that big on the inside. It was more of a dive with some okay looking girls and some that you probably would stay away from. The bartender looked better than most of the dancers. I didn't see a VIP area but then again I didn't stay very long. I just didn't feel comfortable. There are nicer clubs in Pensacola.
A dirty, sleazey club, that is actually not too bad! Girls are average to nice looking. A large contingency of military guys come here because of the free beer night. I asked the manager why they are so much busier than some of the nicer clubs in town, and she told me it was becuase of their dancers - they don't mind getting a little nastier than at the other places in town. Layout is a little tough to get clear views. I've been to better, I've been to worse...
