Stopped by 4-8-08. There was a sign saying "closed for renovations". On the 4-14 evening news, I heard that the city of Dover has closed the club stating they had they were violating their business license as a restaurant. They went on to say that they needed to be licensed as an adult entertainment establishment (strip club). According to the news media, they will not be re-opening any time soon.
Stopped in on 1-31-08 to give them another chance. Upon walking in the door, I was blasted with music so loud, you needed ear plugs. There was only one dancer (again). She was busy playing video games with the DJ/bouncer/cook. She went in the lap dance room and never came back. It's too bad that this place is not making any effort to staff the place with girls. I'll be going elsewhere. The only reason I gave a "1" is because there is no "0".
Stopped in on 1/21/08 during lunch time. I was the only customer (again). Seemed pretty dead. only one dancer was working. Waitress/bartender was more interested in hanging out with dancer and DJ rather than tending the bar. I was hoping that this place would catch on during the day. Got to drop them a notch.
I was at Dover Downs and thought I would try out this new place. It was better than the places in Wilmington; however, not as good as the ones in Baltimore. The girls do not make much effort to get lap dances. I bought a girl named Cheri a drink and we talked for about 20 minutes and then she left me without asking me for a dance. I thought this unusual.It is a nice place I just wish they had more girls working weekends. I want to go back soon.
This is a great place for locals to go shoot some pool and sip a couple of brewskis. There were no girls working when I first arrived but there were a couple of pretty girls that soon showed up. I kind of got the impression that this place had been closed a while and had just reopened under a new owner. I'm not sure, it was just the impression I got from the bartender. There were a couple of guys ahead of me to get dances which must have been pretty good because they were gone for a while. I had to get back on the road so I didn't get to sample any dances. I think that this is going to be an awesome place in the near future with the plans I heard them talking about.
Stopped by 11-20-07. This is in the old Froggy's nite club. There were 2 girls working; Delicious and Bunnie. I was the only customer. Got a LD from Delicious very well built...pretty good grind. I spent alot of time with Bunnie, also very well built. She was in a cuddling mood, because the club had just opened for the day and it was chilly.
They are in the process of updating the fixtures. The carpet is worn in spots.
As you walk in, there are 3 pool tables in an elevated area to the right, there are 2 bars each on opposite ends of the club. There is ample seating at the bar plus tables in the middle of the floor and chairs at the front of the stage.
No cover during the day. Manager gave me 2 free cover charge coupons for night visits. LD's are $20.00. Bottled beer is $4.50, a bit high. From 11:00 to 3:00 they have 1/2 price appitizers.
As time goes on, they will be hiring more dancers. I'm willing to give them another visit
Club is not too bad. A place to relax and hang out...nothing like the clubs in PA...This is an after work place to vist. cover is 10 and the drinks are fair price...the girls are of all enthic's clothes stay on while dancing...no lap danceing....clubs opening at abut 12noon...have not been on a weekend yet...will have to try it out.notice a lot of people have parties here and little get together so it is sort of a clubs like place.
