Haven't been to Elans for way over a year so was interested to see what changes have been made and what it's like now. Elan's is the granddaddy of clubs around Connecticut; it's got to open for nearly 20 years.
The inside has been freshened up a good deal and is in way above average condition for a club. The men's room, bar and dance area was very clean and all in good repair. The crowds are less than years ago but it still was well populated on a Saturday night.
There were maybe 6 or seven dancers on..not sure of the exact number. Enough though. They were of mixed nationalities, some Hispanic, some Russian, some American, but they were all at least OK looking and some really OK. A couple were really fun to talk to and not into the typical stripper conversation.
The big difference here, and a pleasant surprise, is that the air dance is gone. All the girls allow heavy contact and one told me that there's no problem with roaming hands anywhere in the VIP area but I didn't try it. One dancer, wish I could remember her name, was particularly entertaining.
All in all it was a good visit but as always, at $25 a dance, trying them all gets expensive, but I felt it was my duty to file a complete report to TUSCL membrs!
Maybe it was not the best of times nor the worst of times.
After all the place was full of attractive, young women. Apparently all/most Russian girls. The place was very clean, odd where there is a pole and dancer right behind the bar along with the bartender. But what the heck, it is different.
I was rounded up almost immediately by a lovely woman, we chatted for a little bit and they did their 2 for 1 VIP dances. But it was pretty - minimal. Very little grinding, (and the girl had an odd looking nipple) really not much to enjoy IMO.
She mentioned there were two other rooms, the Champaign room that cost $200, and the private room that was $300 for 1/2 hr. and it was VERY good dances in there she said.
I just did the 2 for 1, had a 2nd beer (they took my 1st one when I was getting the dance) and off I went.
Club is located on Federal Road, easy to get to from I-84. Topless bar with alcohol. Dancers ranged from 6-8, with a mileage rating of low. Very limited lap dances were offered. Champagne room was offered but did not accept, perhaps more goes on in there. Facility itself was intimate, clean and well appointed, however due to the uneven talent and lame dances I have to rate this club a 5. Also, the drinks were watered down.
Rating of 1 is only because there isn't a zero available.
Topping off a very frustrating tour of NNJ clubs after picking a loser in the Hambletonian at the Meadowlands, I figured this place had reasonable reviews so thought I'd check it out. I got off I-84 at about 7:20 PM on a Saturday night. Made the various turns shown on my GPS and then approached the club. Believe it or not, at 7:30 or so on a Saturday night there were only THREE cars in the lot - THREE! That includes the dancers, bartenders, bouncers and customers. I could just imagine what it was like inside. But, figured I'd be more embarassed than anything so just drove on by without stopping. How good could a bar be if it only had 3 cars in the lot.
I'll pick another time and try again.
This is a large and well appointed club, similar to Beamers in Stamford but larger. Free lunch buffet. Most of the action is around the bar area where girls dance in the middle but there are other stages as well when it gets busy. Dancers mostly above average in looks and can hold a conversation. Major drawback is the $25 tag for laps. Contact varies widely but as with most places you have better luck in the afternoon.
Brightly-lit, comfortable, and friendly, Elans is unlike other strip clubs I've been to. Definitely up-scale in appearance, and very clean-looking. The girls are beautiful. Elan's gives the impression that you could have a business meeting there; a lot of clubs are shadowy, dingy, but not this one. Very recommended.
convenient for i84 travelers but will be hard to find first time. On a Friday, about 12 dancers, one 9, one 8, and the rest 6-7's. Grindage but no touching. Lily indeed is a prize, plenty of grindage but she has little clue what she is doing, totally random dance, but she tries to please. And very friendly. Overall worth the visit.
Pleasantly surprised by this nice club. Inside it is clean, modern furnishings, working bathroom, good drinks, I have seen worse lately on the road. As other folks mentioned, LDs are $25 and occassionally you get a 2 for 1. Grindage is generally good -- and when I went on a Wednesday night (around 11) the girls were surprisingly cute (nothing below a 7). I actually went for the VIP Champagne where you pay $200 for 30 minutes and get all the free drinks you want. Considering the $25 LD, the VIP was not a bad deal.
Downside is the price (I would have stayed longer and explored more if the price was lower) and it was not real easy to find. I will go back if I get back to Danbury again. If you see her, say hi to Maria and get a few dances from her!
The club is typical upscale style, led lights on the stage, loud music, soft comfy chairs, nice overall. There was a good number of girls on a Thursday at 11:00. Mostly good looking, two or three real hotties, one definite 10, nothing below a 7. Drinks were $6, LD $25. I'm from NY and that seems crazy for the sticks of CT.
I spent some time with a thin cute Russion girl named Lily, an 8, small breasts, but athletically thin like I like. She was sweet and I was very happy with her LD. They had a 2 for 1, so I went for it and she did all the grinding I could want. No air dance here. Light touching on the rear and sides allowed for me, but that's all. At 2 for 1, it was worth it, but I can't see spending the kind of money it would take to make a night of it there. The owners get $5 from every dance and if you ask me, it's a good way to keep the customers away. Not much competition in the area though, so maybe it works for them. There was a decent crowd but not too many taking dances. If the LD price were lower, I'd give it an 8 or maybe even a 9, but for $25/LD?
