Found myself in Boulder and thought I'd give it a shot. Well described in earlier reviews. On a Friday night, about 10 girls, seemed like primarily natural college girls. Overall, fairly attractive. Not very aggressive--I sat at a table for a while sipping a water (no beer except in "private club" portion) and chilled while two girls at a time danced a couple songs each on the stage in the center. Some private dances were happening in the back--occasional spying revealed moderate contact.

Was about to engage in a private dance when the dancer got called to the stage. My buddies called while she was on stage and I left to meet them. Didn't have a chance to go back. Overall, it seems like a nice club, but certainly not top notch.

I finally, finally made it into the Nitro. I'm glad I did, and I certainly hope the city fathers and mothers don't shut the place down.

One enters from the alley, pays one's cover, and walks through a corridor past the cashier, past the private club area (unless one is a member), into the club proper. It's intimate and elegant in design. It feels much larger than it really is, although that may be a function primarily of crowd size.

The stage is not raised. It is at ground level, surrounded by a bar and stage-side seating. The bar is a glass and brass latticework which is quite unique for such a venue, and I wonder how uncomfortable it must be for the dancer when she balances between the bar and your seat. Surrounding the bar and stage-side seating is table seating. There's a bar along one wall, and the lap dance area along another wall. The oblong stage bar is split 3/4 - 1/4 between the main room and the private club portion, separated by glass partitions and walls, where one may drink liquor one brings to the club. Otherwise the place is a juice bar.

The dancers are mostly young but otherwise quite varied in look and style. I'm approached by a young floozy who is not my type just after arriving, and I decline. There's another dancer sitting alone at a table, and I'm about to join her when I see a new dancer at the stage with a very sensual, fluid, beautiful dance style. I roll up to the stage with eyes on her, trying to avoid eye contact with the underage coed type working the other end of the stage. The eye contact and the waiting tip do their magic, and I soon get to appreciate this young dancer's talents. She asks me for a private dance, and I appreciatively agree. The other gal is now engaged with a fellow who just walked in but who is spending most of his time shouting to a buddy over his cell phone. Sorry, I'll be busy for a while.

The LD area is along one wall, with couch-like seating facing the wall, and padded benches along the wall for the dancer. It is nicely lit with some soft track spots, so I can actually see my partner during the dance! Private dances are only $25, and the songs are untruncated, typically quite long. My partner's dances are sensual. There's a bit more interaction than some other area clubs, but nothing out of the ordinary for Colorado. I figure I'll only have 2 or 3 to start with, but we are having so much fun that 5 dances later, my dancer parts with her take plus a nice fat tip. She visits a few times subsequently to talk. All in all, it is an enjoyable evening. I'll be back.

A few days later, there's yet another article in the local newspaper about "Nitro" not being too "explosive." They get very few complaints and have very few problems relative to their alcohol-soaked, college kid hangouts nearby. Perhaps the prudish feminists in and the property value conscious liberals in town will come to the conclusion that this is actually quite tasteful entertainment, although the building and planning regulations have forced the owner to claim the business as mainly a restaurant.

I dropped by this plce for the 1st time last night with a group of friends. This place is great, much more then I expected. I'm not a stripclub kind of guy. I've been to two others in the past few years and both times I left feeling like a pervert. This place was different.
My friends dragged me there swaring I've got to check this place out. I'm glad I did. This club was comfortable and upscale without trying to hard, the girls were all very beautiful and looked like they genuinely enjoyed thier job, and the staff was very friendly and they looked like they were having just as much fun as the customers.
We spent most of the night in the private part of the club where you can consume your own alcohol. I have to say it was wierd at first but that soon went away after the first couple shots.
This place just might make me into a stripclub kind of guy. I will be back.

Made the trip to Boulder to check out this club and to see the hype is all about.Must say it was well worth the trip.The club is located on the Pearl st mall with the entrance in the alley behind.
The inside of the club is quite nice with a large stage in the center of the room.The girls were 8s with a few 7 and 9s.The dancers are very friendly and when asking you for dances they don't push the issue if you say no.I did get a few lap dances from a beautiful,big breasted blond.Money well spent,alot of contect.
When I first arrived it was about 9pm and there was maybe 20 guys in the place.I stayed for a bit then walked down to a local pub for a couple beers.I got back just befor 12 and the place was packed.
It happened to be amater night on the night I was there.There where 4 girls competeting 3 of whom were true amateurs,local college girls I assume.I saw alot of very pretty girls in the crowd checking the place out for next week I'm sure.
They have a VIP section,with a monthly fee you can bring your own alcohol.Interesting concept but I didn't inquire.Maybe next time.
I've got to say I really like this club.It has a fun,lively,hip atmosphere and you wouldn't be ashamed to be seen there.I have some friends visiting next month and this is a great place to let loose.

I visited the Nitro Club recently. I was in the Boulder area and based upon the things I've heard I had to check this club out. I arrived a little after 10pm. The club was pretty busy and the crowd seemed very free with thier money. First impressions of the club were very good. It is nicely laid out, tastefully decorated, extremely clean and had popular music playing. Drink service was really spotty, they could have used another waitress.

The stage is a little strange,one long runway. There were 3-4 girls on at a time. The stage has 2 poles which is a little odd because the ceiling was so low. It definitely limits the dancers, but they made it work.

There were about 9-12 girls working. All of them very sexy and had great attitudes. Most were 7 or 8's with a couple of 9s. I was expecting worse. I suspect the club is pretty particular in the girls they let work and the quality definitely shows.

Lap dances are full nude, full grind. The lap dance area is semi-private and very busy.

Overall I like this place. Clean, safe with a good quality dancers and customers. I'm thinking of working there a couple days a week. I will be back.

This place is off the hook. The girls are great and the atmosphere is excellent. The cover charge is $10, plus a 2 drink minimum and well worth it. Was in Boulder for 4 days and spent two nights there 2/8 and 2/9. Since it was the weekend, there was a lot of people there at midnight. The earlier you get there, the better chance you have a getting a table. I was with this one lady whose name is Tina. If you do go to the Nitro, see this lady. She is the sexiest dancer I've ever seen, she'll show you a good time. I was pleasently suprised at the talent, There was not an ugly girl in the bunch. They seem to be very selective about who they hire, even the non-dancers were hott. The only bad thing about the place is that they're new and could use more girls to meet the demand. I'm sure they will have no problem getting girls to this place, I happily spent alot of money there and I know I was not the only one. the place was hopping and I will definately be back next time I'm in town. Go to the Nitro and have yourself a good time.


I wish I could give a 10+. This is by far the best club in northern Colorado. I leave with a "SMILE" every time.
I'm glad to see new faces each visit, along with my favorites. I spend most of my time in The Speakeasy "relaxing" with the girls. I do venture out every now and them to see what's going on in the rest of the club, but always pick a bunny and head back to my favorite spot.
Whoever disigned this club did a wonderful job, you easily forget you are in the basement. The layout is genius. The ceilings are low but it gives a cozy, rather then cramped, felling. It does give that old time "speakeasy" feel they were going for. I like the fact they kept it simple and classy. They didn't over do it and trach it up like alot of highend gentelmen's clubs who mistake expensive for gaudy, those of who will remain nameless.
The only bad thing I can say is that I always stop by for a quickie and end up staying for hours, time flies by in this club. It's always "I have time for ONE more lap dance".....Four hours later.....
By the way, by far the best lap dances around. You get alot of bang for your buck. I will save those details for another time.

This is the second strip club I've ever been to and I had a blast. The girls were so much fun and very sexy. I thought it would be sleazy but I was wrong. It kinda looks like a Vagas club only smaller.
I went with a bunch of friends and we had so much fun. The girls were trying to get us up on stage, maybe next time. It was way to busy for my first time. I would like to try when there are not so many guys.
I does get crowded and it was hard to find a seat at first. We ran into some guys we know and spent most the time at stage sitting on there laps. Does that count as a lap dance.
The girls and I will be back this Saturday. Maybe next time I'll get my first lap dance And I'll up the rating to a 10.

Small trashy club. Tiny pole. Stage on floor makes it hard to see girls especially if you are not sittig at the stage. Not much stage space at all. No alcohol. 2 $10 non alcoholic drink minimum.Only open 3 nights a week. In a small alley, felt very sleezy going in. I wouldn't be surprised with all the permitting violations the club has if it is still open by the end of the month.

Girls look overworked and are not very pretty. Rude dancers demanded I give them money, I guess some would call this hustling.

I would not return to the club. Although it is located downtown, it was not classy like downtown Boulder.

One month later and it's still open. It's amazing. Young crowd, hey, it's Boulder. College girls or just after and college guys with the dollar bills for 'em. It's not the Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas, but if it's 2am in Boulder and you're looking for nakedness, this will certainly do. I gotta say, as a 50+ guy, I'm sensitive about being the oldest guy in the club -- but it goes away after I've tipped and received kind attention.

Went with a friend after a nice dinner out, but after midnight, as it is open until 4am. Wanted to check it out before the Boulder crazies shut it down. Imagine ... wigglers right on Pearl Street! Standard club entry, no hassle at the door, minimal cover but they tell you up front that it is a two-drink minimum and no alcohol. Typical $4.50 soda, but not a big deal to me. Decent layout with a large center "pen" surrounded by a rail and seating, plus more cushy seats scattered around the rest of the floor and an area of long couches for lap dances. There must also be a VIP area, but we didn't check it out. The crowd was pretty standard Boulder, and everyone was friendly; certainly no gang bangers. I also noticed a few ladies there with male friends checking out the scene. Maybe prospective dancers?

About 7-10 dancers working, mostly 5's to 7's, but I rank that mainly because I'm more of an upper body and breast man. No silicone, mostly average to athletic body types (only one that was thick/overweight), and pretty much a "nice" girl look on all of them. If I were going solely on legs and ass, I'd bump the rankings up a bit, as I saw some nice booty. Three in the "pen" at one time and the rest wandering around the club. They were attentive at the rail, and made everyone feel welcome. Lots of smiles while they were showing off their wares.

There was NO pressure for private dances. I grabbed one girl whose attitude I liked on stage and went for a series of couch dances (cut a deal on the price) and she was a wildcat. The best grind I've had since the better clubs in Vegas or Phoenix. Plenty of eye contact, snuggling, and rubbing. The bouncer was nearby but didn't seem too worried about things getting out of hand, as I wasn't trying to grab. Didn't need to with all the dry humping she was doing. Did another long session after she did her time in the pen, and went home smiling.


I've been to this club four times now and it keeps getting better. The girls there are all beautiful and very friendly. A couple of my favorites have moved to this club, and since I'm a live in Boulder this makes me very happy. Every time I go they have more girls, most have small tats and not much metal.Ts club has a very comfortable atmosphere, no big meathead bouncers breathing down my neck. The only downside is that it gets too busy later on in the evening and it's hard to get privite time with the girls. I guess that's good for the club and girls, more $$$. At my last visit I became a vip and was able to spend time with the girls in the back room. It's not as busy back there. I work on Pearl St and the word is this place might stick around. It's a great place to go after work and I don't have to travel to Denver to see my favorite girls. I'll be back on Fri to see Ginger,Layla and all the others.

It's definitely cramped. The owners are going for something along the lines of "edgy", I guess -- that apparently means the girls have tats and nose rings. Hey, it's Boulder. The entrance is from an alley behind the Old Chicago, which can't be too pleased that a strip club now graces its south view. This club won't last long as the city fathers (and mothers) will not allow a nude bar in such close proximity to the Pearl Street Mall. It affects property values, doncha know and nothing is more important in this yuppie town than property values, believe me.

Apparently, they haven't yet figured out a reasonable set of hours. Door was locked at 8:30pm Tuesday, December 18th. Knocked. No answer. At the same time there were about 25 cars outside of the Bustop (not including those parked for the bus stop). The decals/paint on Nitro's entrance had been scraped off (although it was untouched on the mall side that redirected folks to the alley). Possible vandalism? No attempt was made to clear the alley of a thick, uneven layer of ice. Maybe someday I'll get to actually visit.

I visited this club for the first time this past Fri and was back on Sat. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The decor was extremely nice, a true Gentlemens club. The girls were hot, young, and very friendly.
This is a newcomer and I can see this club growing into one of Colorado's finest.
I will definitely be back.

Word to the wise, show up early to assure a seat at the stage. By 11:00 it's standing room only.

We sit down in the front row and the first thing we notice is that there is no stage, but how could there be? The place is only 8 feet tall. It's strange to have no stage because the talent usually likes to imitate certain intimate things on the ground. Without having a stage you find yourself having to lean forward or even stand up to see what's going on.

I heard "What's she doing?" and "I can't see," a few times from other patrons. The undersized ceiling also affects a mainstay to the strip club. Yup! You guessed it, the pole.

One dancer slid down the pole and bumped onto the ground leaving here to chirp, "It's too short." I found that quite comical.


In between uson our plush chairs with wheels and the ladies is a counter made of glass. This is where you are supposed to place your cash to attract some of the "ladies of the night."

My first set of singles was picked up with a set of buttocks. It was a good trick.


Went there on a Saturday night with my wife. The place was hopping. Our first impression was that this is a very classy joint. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Lots of couples, and lots of girls in the audience. The club recently made the front page of the Daily Camera, so I guess a lot of people were curious to see what it was all about. Definitely a fun, comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

The big disappointment was the girls. They weren't unattractive by any means, but there was a lot of sameness, and after a while they all blended into one another. It's as if the club only hired girls with one particular body type. Every single one was tattooed and pierced, too, so if metal and ink is your thing, this place is for you. I kept a $20 bill to give as a tip to the first girl without tattoos and body piercings, and at the end of the night, I still had that $20, which says a lot. Every single one was also shaved totally bare. I know that the bush is extinct in the adult entertainment industry, but can we at least see a landing strip once in a while? Overall, this club can definitely benefit from more variety: the "I've seen one of your girls, I've seen them all" impression that I got is unlikely to get them a lot of repeat customers.
