Every time I go to the Best Buy over on Sawtelle, I think about dropping by Fantasy Island. I need to break myself of that habit and yesterday may have done it. The place couldn't have been much deader. I only saw three dancers and I don't think any of them saw me. No one offered me a dance. No one offered to take my order for food or drink. Even the bartender seemed too busy rearranging things to talk to me. I waited around for fifteen minutes and couldn't figure out why I was even there so I left. The only reason I'm not giving it a lower rating is that I still find the decor rather pleasant in a campy way and they didn't really do anything to offend me. They just didn't do anything.

I was in the area with a friend of mine so I decided to re-visit this club. I've been here before at night and it's usually pretty busy on the weekends. I wanted to see what it's like during the day.

It was very slow, pretty much what you'd expect in the day time. There was a cute bartender and 3 or 4 dancers sitting and reading magazines/books in an area near the bar towards the street side of the building. It looked pretty strange and sort of like a hostess club where girls just wait for a customer to choose them.

There were a few other dancers sitting at the bar and one was doing lap dances on the other side of the room. I ordered some food and played pool while waiting for the food. There was no waitress so I ordered my drinks at the bar and took them over to the pool tables.

There were about 5 or 6 customers at the bar and one was doing a lap dance. I played pool for about 15 minutes and didn't see anybody going on the stage. I was hoping somebody would go on the stage so I can tip her but no luck.

After waiting a while, I went back to the bar to see what was going on with my food. The bartender told me the cook was on break and just came back so it will be another few minutes. I wasn't in any hurry so it didn't matter to me. I was still hoping to see somebody on stage.

To make a long story short (too late), nobody ever went on stage so I can't really review that portion. What I can review is that during the day, this is a really laid back type of place and not one dance came over to ask for a dance. The food was acceptable and the drinks were good.

This is a good place to come for a drink and snacks while looking at the bikini girls. You can play pool with your friends and chill.


I went by FI hoping to find Kia but I was told she had been fired for high mileage. There were two new women working today. It was the second day for Green and Vegas. They drive here from Bakersfield and neither of them have worked in a strip club before. I got two low mileage dances from Green, they were enjoyable but nothing special.

The waitress said they have had a lot of police activity lately and none of my regulars were there today.

This must be one of the brightest club in LA. Overall the atmosphere is great and festive. I think the quality of dancers has gone down. They use to have a better selection with a few 8s and 9s thrown in. Now, it is more like a ethnic mix, heavy set with an occasional barbie thrown in. Maybe the said barbies are getting jobs in Hollywood or have drifted to the nearby Plan B. However, the waitress and bartenders are among the friendliest in town so the your stay will be enjoyable. I heard on the weekend it can be packed so maybe the talent would be much more desirable during those days.

I dropped by again today and they had a new Korean girl named Tia. Tia is so hot that I couldn't resist taking her to the VIP room. A half hour in the VIP room is $150 plus you have to buy a bottle of something from the bar and tip the barmaid. So it's not cheap and probably not worth it, but I couldn't help myself Tia is just that hot. She did not disappoint me in the VIP room. Lots of touching with good access to her goodies. Not nearly as high mileage as COI clubs, but for a nude club that serves alcohol and is close to home it ain't bad. The waitress brought a bottle of champagne and two glasses but it never got opened. I spent the whole half hour playing with Tia's toys.

Nice place to go and relax, the they actually serve alcohol here but prices have gone up and it is expensive to drink here. I usually go during the day and the selection of ladies can be slim. Several time in the afternoon there is a posse of guys sitting in the middle of the room monopolizing a couple of girls. My favorite here is a Czech girl named Janet, she is a really pretty blond with great eyes. She does sexy dances and it is fun to get laps from an attractive women but she gives relatively low mileage. There is a VIP room but I have not seen anyone use it in years. Perhaps it gets used at night time.

This club is not bad. Because they serve real alcoholic drinks and not just soda you can bring a group of friends and have a fun time here. Most of the girls had nice bodies and it provided a nice atmosphere. Not much pressure for lap dances at all. Don't think of this as a alternative to other strip clubs because you can get better dances elsewhere. Think of this club as a alternative to a regular bar.

4 is being charitable and it's mainly for the fun decor, which has seen better days. I stopped in on my way to a nearby lumber yard and I probably could have gotten a better lap dance at the lumber yard. Fantasy Island with its garish decor is a bikini club without a lot of great women to fill the bikinis. During the 30 or so minutes I was there, the only women to be seen were occupied talking to guys I guess were regulars. One lady checked me out to see if I was a wild tipper and when it turned out I tipped normal amounts, she lost interest in me. That was okay because I didn't have a lot of interest in her or anyone else I saw.

I was going to be up in the West L.A. area again so I called up my friend to let him to know to meet me at Fantasy Island for a few drinks in the company of hot chicks. He warned me that since I was planning a trip there on a Monday night, there was a good chance that it the place would resemble a morgue. I took that into consideration but with as much fun as I had with my first visit there, how bad could it possibly be on a Monday? Needless to say, I was going no matter what since I was in the area.

Got in at about 9:15pm with the free pass that they advertise on the Fantasy Island website. I have to mention that parking sucks around the club. The first time I went, I did the valet thing but there is something about handing my keys and my truck over to some shady character that works for the club. So I decided to find parking along the street. You have to be careful because certain sections and neighborhoods are tow-away so read the signage carefully before leaving your vehicle.

My friend was already in the club and two drinks ahead of me. He gave me a wave and a look like "I told you so..." when I walked in. He was right. The place was nothing like it was when I was there ten days prior. There was only a fraction of the girls that were there from my previous visit and many of them didn't fit the mold that I enjoy spending time with, while others looked like they didn't wanna be there. The energy was certainly lacking. The girls really didn't make an effort to sit and chat either. There was something very askew about the club this evening. It gave me a chance to catch up with my friend and have a few drinks at the same time. After an hour of attempting to give it a chance, we agreed to head out to the nearby 4Play just down the street. You will find my review for the club there.

So although I still like FI and will go back when I have the chance, this evening was a huge disappointment. Maybe I set myself up for being too excited to go but my friend did warn me. Now I know. For those of you who look to visit and see some really hot chciks, I went on a Thursday night and my socks got blown off. The girls there were that hot.

After a visit with a friend of mine in the nearby UCLA Medical Center, another friend of mine convinced me to swing by Fantasy Island to take a look. In my previous strip club outings, I am used to seeing total nude shows on stage and phenomenal VIP dances that are off-the-charts with mileage. So although visiting a bikini bar was not something I was accustomed in doing, I needed to see for myself what the buzz was about according to my friend.

My first impression as soon as I walked in was how well-lit it was inside. Kind of a 70's party vibe with all of the disco balls going. I almost thought that I was in an Austin Powers video. Then I sat down and was surprised to order myself a beer. I have not alcohol in a strip club for as long as I could remember.

The women were hot. They were hot enough that I could care less if they took their clothes off or not. The majority of them had amazing bodies that were accented by the very small bikinis that covered whatever they could hide. Most of them had pretty faces too which is always a plus for me. When they take a moment to sit at your table and chat, it's always much more enjoyable when they have a pretty face to look at.

The lap dance area is pretty much out in the open. The lighting remains bright in this area as well. I settled on a Czech beauty named Layla. VERY pretty brunette with some of the most amazing curves I have seen on a woman. She kind of resembled a dancer that I used to date at Tropical Lei a few years back so there was an easy attraction for me there. The dances for most of the women are very hands-on. It is very easy to let your hands roam without much resistance from the dancer. Layla was no exception. There is also a VIP room where a $70.00 bottle of champagne gets you in. From there, you can spend as much time as you want with a dancer whether you get lap dances with her or sit and chat. I did not try that room but may consider it on my next visit.

This is not an easy drive for me coming from Orange County but since I make the time to visit my friend in the hospital at UCLA, it's not difficult to warrant a visit to the FI. It is a great alternate to what I am used to seeing at Hawaii Theater and Tropical Lei, and a lot more laid back too.

This is one of the few clubs in LA that serves alcohol. The girls average about 6-8 on a 10 point scale. The drink prices are about $6 for spirirts and $5 for beer. Dance prices are $20 and are conducted in the open air. There is moderate touching with the right girl so watch and pick wisely. Every hour there is a 2 for 1 dance special that actauuly gives you a 2 for 1, not 1.25 for 1 like most clubs. If you want hotter girls, more grindage and topless head over to 4-Play down the street. I enjoy this club because you can drink and there isn't a lot of hassel. Have Fun!

I gave her $10 to start the dance then pulled out a $20 and asked to see her boobs. She made sure the bouncers weren't looking, then pulled down her bra and I got a face full for a good couple of minutes. Silicone rules!

Wish this place was a little smaller...it's very Vegas-like in its size...think I prefer the Candy Cat, but will return to look for Holly.

Great club. Great dances. I've been to this club several times and the girls are hot and the dances are even hotter. You walk in and the bar is on the right and the stage to the left. It's a bikini bar so the girls don't get naked at all, but the ones I've had dances with were hot as hell. Depending on the night, the girl and her attitude you can do some touching during the dances. Outside of the dances it's not a bad place to just hang out and check out or talk to the girls.

I had some time to kill nearby and stopped in around 2 pm last Friday. It was pretty lively in the pool and bar area. Not much going on the stage, but that is typical for a bikini bar. Ordered a drink and was tag teemed at the bar by a couple of bright Latinas (Brazillian). Each had a little more meat than she needed, but both were cute talkative and touchy feeley. Did not have to buy them a drink either. They wanted to work together and tried to lead me by the privates (I had shorts on due to the weather) to the VIP (there it is $20 the DJ and then $20 times 2 for each song. That gets a little pricey for bikini dances. However, they promised that one could cover for the other during our time in there and I would surely enjoy it. However, after a while of being mugged under the bar stool, I opted for one at a time on the couch in the corner of the bar. Although it is only bikini and somewhat open to view, one can squeeze back a little and it was surprisingly intimate; it seems that both tops and bottoms could be moved appropriately for play. No cover during the day and no real hustle by the dancers.
All in all, not a bad way to spend a few hours and get a slight buzz on as well.


For a bikini club this place is awesome. There are plenty of beautiful girls here. Some of the girls allow some all over touching on the sly. There is one girl there, a tall Czech blond/brown haired blue eyed girl wearing a blue bikini, who is absolutely stunning. She gives a very sensual dance blowing in my ear and telling me sexy stories. She definitely gives plenty of friction. I plan to go back just to see her.

I liked this place better in the eighties when it was Kelbo's Hawaiian Restaurant. I think some of the decor is the same and at least one of the ladies looked like she could have been one of the old waiters.

Back then, it had great ribs. Now, it has okay tits. Some of the ladies are quite nice looking but throughout my visit, they all had guys they were talking to, so I was generally ignored.

I think this might be a great place if you went often enough to become a regular and to get to know the people there. My visit was a little disappointing, especially since I kept thinking about how I used to love the ribs they served in that building.

Happened to be just driving by this club on the way back to my hotel and figured to give it a try. Club offers valet parking but that is something that I always hate and try to avoid. Here it is difficult though. Little parking around, though I got lucky and found a meter around the corner.

Atmosphere of the club was very nice. Like an active college bar with music, lots of people hanging out, good pool games going on. The fact that there were a few dozen girls hanging out in bikinis almost went unnoticed.

Girls were very friendly. Many would sit and talk and there was no pressure for dances given by the girls I spoke with. Wide variety of girls by age, ethnicity, and body type. Few here were barbie doll hollywood types, which I appreciated. I ended up having a long conversation with a Brazilian girl who was around 30 with a smoking natural body.

Needless, to say, I decided on a few lap dances. The girls stay clothed (in bikinis) through the dance, though depending on the girl you can have a nice time. My girl let my hands wander, and even slip inside her bra. She also was very playful and there was plenty of contact and frotage.

I went there last week during the day. I had not tried any bikini bar in LA before. I was not disappointed. It was not at all busy at all. I bought a drink and a beautiful lady came to me and sat with me for a good 15 minutes before asking me for a lap dance. She was extremely cute with a micro white bikini which was barely covering her ass. She took me by the hand to the left corner couch and gave me several wild good contact dances. The girls were generally in the 7-8 range and the drinks were well poured. If you like the drinking aspect of clubs, it is a good place to go.

I went to Fantasy Island a few nights ago, and had a great time. The layout is varied and there is a little something for everyone to do. Pool tables, full bar, casino machines, and, of course, beautiful women of all variety making their appearance on the stage and the floor. Its a bikini bar, so the atmosphere allows it to be erotic and sensual the dancers and laid back and casual with your friends. There is a VIP room if you would like to take the woman of your dreams into a more private atmosphere. I will say that I saw the most beautiful shaped ass I've ever seen on a woman there. Her name was KENNEDY and she was a great entertainer all around. I took my friend there for his birthday with a group and not only was she a fantastic dancer, she had a great sense of humor and went out of her way to find other girls for everybody else. Her ass really does belong in a museum. I'll definitely be back, no pun intended.

This is the last of a 3 club tour of mine prior to my departure from LA. If you are looking for more of a neighborhood strip joint, this is the place for you to be. The girls are good looking and the drink prices were reasonable. There are also two pool tables in the back to offer you amusement while you are waiting for your favorite girl to be available. Also a must stop for me while I am in LA...

After a dismal experience at another upscale club with lousy lap dances I went into here. This place looks really nice and the ladies were again beautiful. I went here also on a Sunday.

What really impressed me was the lap dance quality. This is a bikini lap dance but are of decent quality. There is some touching. The dances are most sensual and sexy. The cost however is $20 so be careful on who you choose. Also you might want to ask for deals. Once in awhile you can get a deal if you negotiate reasonably like 2 for $35.

There is a champagne room which I did not go to because you had to buy a bottle of champagne. I think the bottle was like $65 plus tip. The dances inside the champagne room are $30 and more private. I wouldn't recommend this especially if you aren't into drinking over-priced champagne.
