The club is recognizable to some as the same place where Dancing at the Blue Igauna was filmed. The exterior is decently lit and parking is completely easy. After paying the cover, went inside to the standard setup - a large stage with a pole in the middle of the stage took up quite a bit of the main room. Wasn't able to quickly determine where lap dances, etc... were given, but after sitting down, was able to spot the semi-private area for the dances. Dancers were of moderate to high, but were nowhere near unbelievable. Good enough for a one-night stand without regret but not something you would go bragging about.

Got hit up quickly for the minimum drink purchase and was able to pass off a "check back with me in a minute, I just got here" and bought some time. So much so that I didn't have to purchase anything. The dancers were not really that interesting or interested in the patrons - more just dancing because that's what they did. Not a huge crowd, despite it being a decent night for laying loose. About the fourth dancer up I had spotted in the crowd talking with a customer. This girl was the exception to the medium to hot rule. She was simply hot. When she finished, I asked the bartender to arrange an introduction. By this time I had also seen a couple of customers go behind me into another area.

The dancer is a hot, little Latina with an absolutely awesome body. Small handful of breasts, tight ass - beautiful long hair. She introduced herself and I told her how pretty she was. She asked if I wanted to go private - how much? $20 per song - told her deal. Went back to the back for a private room. Sat on a bench with walls to the left and right. Above the walls were sheer black curtains where the guards could easily look through to see if there was trouble, but some privacy was afforded. The guard walked by a couple of times to check the room while we were in there.

I paid for four dances in advance, but she immediately got my attention and I was saluting through my jeans. Noticing this, she blew hot air through my jeans and rubbed it with her hands until she turned her back to me and sat right ontop of my jeans. She started to grind away - unbelievably hot. Midway through the third song, I had too much and exploded in the jeans. She could tell and looked at me with pride and said "I think we're done?" I said yes and told her to keep the change for the fourth song. If I had an extra $20, she would have gotten it. I was completely not expecting to climax and had never before and haven't since. You just have to find the right one, but there is at least one "right one" at this club.

Based on reviews that I had read I was excited to try the "Volleyball" club. Actually, I never really got the name. I expected to have some sort of sports theme, but I never really saw it. My guess is this club used to be very good and now it is just OK. I am not sure of the logic of paying the bartender for dances instead of the dancer. Maybe the dancers got out of control overcharging. Dances are $40, but there seems to be lots of 2 for 1 with shorter songs. I was there from about 8-9:30. The place was mostly dead. The back stage area was empty and a little scary. I was there on a Wednesday and the dancers tended to be on the older side (30+). I expected it to get better the longer I stayed, but it never really did. Maybe another night of the week it would be better.

This club I went on a recommendation. Wow! This is the sister club to Bare Elegance and so it was just as amazing. The layout is Vegas style and they serve food! The dancers were very nice. The dance quality was spectacular. The lighting was great. It's so nice being able to clearly see the girls dancing on stage. I had a great time and do recommend this.

Two visits to Valley Ball and 4Play on weekend nights resulted in vastly different impressions (see the 4Play section for the other review). I decided to give VB another try after a long absence. Even with the free-admission-anytime coupon in the LA Weekly, the place was deserted at prime time. It was a disappointing experience. Boring stage show, overpriced laps, short-cut songs, and endless gimmicks.

Even simple things they couldn't get right. During the lady's choice parade to sell laps, the genius DJ turned off the stage lights so you could barely recognize who the heck was parading. I fail to see the point.

For a club with a nice layout and a reasonable lineup, the energy level was as low as it can get. They seem determined to fail as a club in spite of their tradition and potential. VB is off my list for the foreseeable future (except for their semi-annual VIP parties). The club reminds me nowadays of Star Strip during its long decline. Some of the better girls have left to other clubs, most recently Alexis going to the Jet Strip.

I went here on a tip. The dance floor is nice, but seating is pretty limited. I noticed a couple if really cute ladies. Although there were only 5 dancers, there was one that I really liked. Not one of girls asked me if I wanted a dance.

I work there. It's nice. Lots of variety. Mondays they have half off all dances. Lap dance areas are private and in a lot are in there own little cubbies. The food is good and the management are cool to customers and to us dancers.

Very nice decor. Lot's of privacy. Dances are pricey- 40 for nude, 300 for half hour champagne room. Dancer quality is average. Lots of porn stars work here and they often have featured porn stars dancing on Tuesday, Thursday, Fri, and Sat night.
They have good food and no drink minimum, but the waitress will often ask you if you would like to buy the dancer you are with a drink (ladies drinks are 10 bucks).

The club is located slightly off the beaten path. It is easy to find with a GPS, but you will not find it just driving around without directions. There seems to be limited parking and the outside is metal building. The interior of the club is very nice especially given that it is a nude club. It has one large stage. Dances are $40 or $300 for 30 minutes. Single dances are done is a large single room. If you go for 3 or more dances, you go to semi-private rooms. Girls vary from 3 to 9s. Dances are good but not great. About once a hour they run the 2 dances fro $40, but songs seem a little shorter. I was there about 2 hours and the once ran a 45 minutes for $300 special.

This club was nice. It's not the easiest place to find. I thought the lighting was a little too low. What I really liked is they serve food. The girls were all very nice. There is a small push for ladies drinks. So, you buy a lady a drink, it's like going on a meet and greet anyway and if you follow up with a lap dance then you might as well call it a date.

What can I say about SR except, Wow! The people who run these clubs really know how to entice men in and keep them coming back. I have been to a few SR clubs, and I must say that the one in Van Nuys is easily my favorite. The women are the hottest in town and give some very good dances.

So, the club itself is located in a somewhat business district of Van Nuys. It doesn't look too bad and certainly not too good. But I believe it's fairly safe. There is a lot to park in so you are not on the street. But once inside, you could really care less where your car is. The club itself is clean and the lights are low for a very good ambiance. Usually a very personable guy or girl takes your mom at the front entrance before entering. The staff is friendly and professional. Right when you enter, there is a bar dead center (no alcohol) which is a part of California Strip clubs that I do not like. There is ample seating both close to the stage and somewhat away if you are more comfortable back a little. The dances take place in either a semi private alcove or the VIP room at the back of club. IT's a clean, cool, upscale place to sit back and relax. And yes, you can feel like a gentleman at this "gentlemen's" club.

But why do we really go? The girls are drop dead gorgeous to passably pretty. Most erring on the side of drop dead gorgeous. There is usually quit a selection from asian, black, latino, and of course white. I would say the majority are white but still a good selection. But the majority of them look as if they justs tepped out of a playboy magazine. And their attitudes are fantastic. There are always some bad apples who are too jaded, but the majority are very friendly and just ooze sex appeal. They definitely keep the motor running.

So after you find one or five girls you like, they will approach or you can ask the waitress for an introduction. Have a nice conversation and then jump in with both feet. The dances here are almost orgasmic. In fact, my very first lap dance was from a young lady who was breaking into the adult movie world. Nothing illegal happened, but I sure wanted it to and the dance was very, very satisfying. Definitely, all the dances were high mileage. I could go on, but just do yourself a favor and go there. Better take a lot of money. The dances range from 25 - 40 in the alcove and over $100 in VIP, but they are worth every penny. Just choose wisely the girl you take with you. As always YMMV but I will be back whenever I can.

Good club. Good atmosphere. Not bad pricing (typical $8 coke). And the girls are some of the best in LA with easly the best dances.

This club is one of the best in the country. The dancers are beautiful & friendly. The club atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. As a former dancer, I recommend finding the girl you want and taking her in the VIP room - it really is worth the extra cost. To find the perfect girl for the VIP room, try the $20 dances first and when you find the perfect dancer, tip her well for the dance, then ask her how the VIP dances are... let her convince you to spend the extra cash.

SRVN remains one of my favorite clubs. Yes, it is expensive. But as a properly groomed, well behaved gentleman who treats the dancers with respect, I have never failed to get high mileage in the VIP room as well as polite service and comps from management.

I do recommend, however, that you begin your visit during the day shift (which ends at 7:30 PM) and avoid Friday and Saturday nights after 10:00 PM. This seems to be when the club gets crowded with dateless boors and the dancers, quite naturally, adapt to this by taking on a revenue mass production modus operandi. The atmosphere turns from upscale and laid back to undermanned WWII Honolulu cat house. Actually, this transformation in itself can offer some entertainment, but if you're interested in laps with good mileage, it's not the time to be there.

Visited the Rhino while on business in LA. It is a very upscale establishment, which translates into EXPENSIVE. There is a 20 dollar cover at the door. Each song is 30 bucks and the songs seem like they are only 2 and a half minutes long. The dances are decent but no touching on your part. The dancers are extremely attractive. Ok place all in all, but probably won't visit again

From all the visits there..I haven't encountered any VHM or UHM..
HM is possible with the right girls..and there are many of them
The VIP is quite bright and cold..
The doormen and floaters are very respectful

I used to go to Spearmint Rhino in Van Nuys once a month or at least every other month. I was there a week ago during the day on a Friday and there seemed to be a big change from the past as far as dancer quality is concerned. The good looking dancer that used to be here seemed to have vanished.

It was pretty dead with only 4 or 6 dancers. Only saw one or two that looked okay. What happened to all the dancers here?

Just came back from Tera Patrick's feature. Nothing special about it, but she is still really hot. The club has some great lookers, but there is no mileage available. And of course the waitresses do that "buy the lady a drink" scam. Jenny did give me a sensual nude dance, so she is worth it.

Free lunch, free drink, free admission! That was a great deal and I was surprised to see 7 lovely ladies working and more than enough guys watching. The food was great. The ladies were so friendly. The lighting was fine and the dance quality was amazing. You got to go here and give it a try. It's really worth going to.
