came in on a weekday afternoon, had to pay a cover charge, but was pleasantly suprised. there were about 8 dancers, with a wide variety in body build/cuteness. the laps were $20, and pretty good mileage depending on the girl. i did not opt for the vip, but i've heard it is very high mileage. it's $120 for the vip, which i may try next time with the right girl. not a bad way to spend the afternoon, but kind of the higher price scale.

I arrived at around 2:30 and was out by 3:45. I was there 74 minutes more than I would have liked. There were eight girls total at the time that I arrived and the place was a ghost town. Here's a quick lineup:

But she went on stage to do some stage maintenance and that is always fun to watch. I also had a chance to talk to Mercedes. One of the more intelligent and straightforward women at this place. I honestly should have taken Mercedes to the back first. As great as she is, I would have been happy with getting a VIP more with her than the two previous ones that I had combined.



In the midst of bust discussions over at HT, I decided to make my way to the Tropical Lei this fine Friday afternoon. I won't lie, I really don't want to involve myself in a freshly-busted club from the night before even if police are targetting the dancers only for drugs and nothing else. It's kind of like hanging out at the epicenter after a 8.2 quake - there's a good chance that you will still get rattled with aftershocks whether you like it or not. Since I was more on the Inland Empire side this afternoon anyway and not the San Gabriel Valley side, it was just easier to get to the TL.

Walked in at about 1:30 and saw only one other PL sitting at the tip rail. I found a seat along the high couches just in front of the stage to allow my eyes to adjust. When they finally came to, I glanced to my right and saw Sassy eyeballing me two couches down. I playfully glanced back at her and pretended that seeing her was no big deal. We have a pretty non-chalant friendship like that which I can completely appreciate. I've known her for over 8 years so it makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable time at the club when I have someone to shoot the shit with. Eventually, she made her way over to me with a sarcastic remark about being too good to say hi to her, followed by my sarcastic remark about how I tend to walk right by women with a bitchy snarl on their mugs. After that, we were totally good and hung out for the next couple of hours. Needless to say, Sassy looks good. Sorry for the baseball references. Not sure why but just in the mood to do so, I guess. Had a good time overall. The guy working the front was still a dick but I don't go there to hang out with him so who cares. On the flip side, the DJ was playing a few songs in their entirety a few times without having to call out the longest song of the hour. Given, it wasn't "Hotel California" in its entirety but it was obvious that the songs that he played lasted longer than what I am used to hearing. Good shit to this new DJ! Let's hope that he doesn't change his ways too much.


Driving to the TL for the first time since July 07, my sole purpose was to locate Sassy for the first time since my last trip there.

Arrived at around 12:15 in the afternoon and saw one dancer out on the floor. Not a good sign for the start of my day there. But I was patient. I was not working this day so I literally had all afternoon. It remained slow for about the first 30 minutes that I was there then all of the sudden, ten girls emerged from the dressing rooms all at
once. I was impressed and finally realized that my day may not be a wash after all. I did not see Sassy in the mix but enjoyed the eye candy for sure. Here's today's batting lineup:

From across the room, I did see Sassy as she motioned me over to her. After not seeing her for over 8 months, I received a half-hearted hug from her. On the other hand, the two guys working the door were dicks. Enough said on these morons.


This is a fun club. Only a couple of complaints. First the drinks for the girls scam is a little much. They aren't that expensive but when the VIP room is $120 minimum why nickel and dime people. I would like to watch the stage show in peace sometimes. The other thing is the size of the club is a little cramped and hard to get a seat on busy nights. The VIP rooms are good sized though. The girls there are between 6 and 9. The VIP dances are the best around. Check with your dancer first before you go to get an idea what your dance may be like. I keep coming back I love this place.

Went to tropical lei last friday and I had a pretty good time. Some of the girls there were above average and rest were average looking. Most of them were very friendly and really pushed the vip. I got a vip from a brunette and she really delivered. I would definitely come back again but you definitely have to bring some cash to have lots of fun. Anything goes here, don't be afraid to get nasty.

On a recent trip to California, I was able to make a stop at Tropical Lei in Upland. This place was off the hook. I paid the $20.00 cover charge and went in. There were probably 20 different girls in the place, most of them 8 or better. As soon as we get in there she says for $200 more - $320 total we can have 5 dances and she would rock my world. I go for it. Sucked and fucked everything, all with rubber, as I had just blew my load 30 min earlier I was going for broke. Went past the 5 song limit to 7 but did not cost me any more. As I was starting to come she pulled me out and took off the rubber to come all over her stomach and tits, then she licked me clean. I asked about the extra songs, she said don't worry about it, come back and see me soon. Good thing I do not live in California or I be broke.

When will i learn not to bother with any strip clubs in the afternoon. I stopped by the TL on the way home from a business trip with a couple of hours to spare before my flight out of Ontario. The place was as dark as ever even in the broad daylight and took twice as long for my eyes to adjust. I found a seat along one of the ridges a ways back from the main stage and waited to see who was available for topless dances. It wasn't much. I'm not really into exotic or ethic dancers, or big girls so without any "girl next door" types all I ended up getting for my price of admission were two over priced Cokes. I'm going to be in the area soon for a while so I think I'll bother to drive to the Hawaii next time.

A little while later one of the dancers sat down to talk and I found out that the book store got turned into VIP rooms. She whispered into my ear and told me that if I got a VIP dance, I'd really enjoy myself and that just about "everything" was available on the menu. I didn't have the time or money to see if that was true, but if so, I could understand the reason for the cell phone ban.

It has been just about a year since my last visit to the TL during a dayshift. The last time I was there was around July 12, 2006 so stopping by here for a visit again felt a little strange, but all too familiar. It was a Friday afternoon at around 2:00 when I made it in. I was greeted by the front door guy who allowed me to use my free pass from HT but immediately refreshed it with a free pass from TL. That makes sense I guess. I didn't realize that I had that HT pass until I pulled out my wallet and almost paid the $15.00 cover. By the way, what is up with that amount for a dayshift visit? No matter. Free means free with the pass.

I got settled in and saw that Mindy (the hot little blonde waitress) was still there and happily took my order. I am sure I speak for many of you regarding her looks and personality and that she belongs on the other side of the tip rail and VIP curtains for sure! Pretty busy for a Friday at 2:00 but who am I to gauge that? I hadn't been here in over a year. A few of the girls came by with the typical offering but turned them down as it was still early for me and I was there to survey the place to see if there was anyone that I would recognize. It turns out that there were a lot more that I would recognize than I thought. Here's a rundown of who I remember:

- Crystal: the first one I saw on stage when I came in; very cute blonde latina who had those body parts that keep me eternally attracted to latinas!
- Luscious: looked pretty good but seemed awfully bored or annoyed at something or another.
- Alize (A-lee-ZAY): First time that I met her; very pretty brunette with a great smile and attitude; gave me a free pass just for being cool. She is definitely a possibility for a VIP on my next trip.
- Tatianna: Pretty latina and much thinner than I remember.
- Lacey: Good ol' Lacey; walking around with her giant boobs and never really looking like she was into it.

- Karina: My conversations don't go much further than "Hi. How are you with her." If I were more worked up for a true sexual experience that day, I would have taken Karina to the back.

And finally, one dancer that I do not want to leave off of this list is Sassy. Yes, you read that correctly - Sassy! As this was my first day back to the TL in over a year, this was also her first day back since September 2006. It was amazing that we ran into each other this day. I have known this woman for almost six years so my jaw dropped when she stopped in front of me. She was a lot thinner than when I saw her last but it was ultimately the same beautiful and sexy girl that I have known all this time. We basically caught each other up on what has been going on the last year, took a break in the VIP, and then chatted up a little more on the floor before I left at 4:45. That was a pleasant surprise.

My schedule doesn't allow me to go back to TL for a few weeks but it's good to know that it really hasn't changed all that much. So making a visit any day during the afternoon hours won't come as much as a shock as I first thought it would.


As so many have said before, the place is a dump but it offers a lot of entertainment. The cover at the door is $15 and you are nailed for a $5 soft drink as soon as you sit down. By the way, the waitress just stares at you if you don't lay down a tip. Topless dances are $25 and fully nude are $40. The private dances in the back are 3 for $120 and 5 for $150.

The dancers were both winners and losers. The winners, 7 and 8s, were a lot fewer than the losers who were the dreggs of the earth... 3 or less.

Two of the great ones were Michaela and Diamond. While Diamond made a real sales pitch for a session in the back,the place was a little too dingy for my tastes.

Last week I was down in the Riverside area for family business and had an hour to kill. I decided to check out the TL because of the great time I had there last July. As often stated the club is a dark rectangle with plenty of lap dance couches on 3 walls with a main stage in the center. There are several one foot by 4 foot counters with stools. I made my way across the club that was fairly crowded but not too bad. There was a lower ratio of girls to customers than on my last trip (on my last trip there were a lot of visiting girls because the Hawaii Theater had closed due to a blackout). After sitting at one of the small counters I was immediately asked to buy the obligatory non-alcoholic beverage.

I watched several girls dance on the main stage without getting any solicitations from the other dancers. I didn't recognize any of the dancers that I had spent time with on my previous visit, I'm guessing maybe they are regulars over at the other club. Most were busy chatting or giving lap dances and the others were getting busy before coming near my part of the room. This was stressing me out just a bit because I really didn't have enough time to spend there, which was entirely my fault. Just when I was thinking that the visit might just be one for eye candy I was approached by Amber who I agreed to go for a couch dance with. I found her very fun, she had very amusing facial expressions and was kind of a kick to chat with. She had fantastic breasts that I'll be thinking about for quite some time. I tipped her $40 for two topless dances and would have considered VIP if I had planned better, had more cash and more time on my hands.

All in all the club once again did not disappoint and so far is my favorite in southern California.

Went there around lunch time, it always takes some time to adjust to how dark the place is. So stood around a couple minutes before finding a seat. I am always suprised to see the quality of girls that are around during the day. Believe there were between 10-15 girls. On average they are a bunch of 7 & 8. Day shifts are way more talkative and they are much more willing to please. Went back for a couple VIP, but I guess I found the "wrong" ones in each case.

I visited Tropical Lei in late February while on a trip to Los Angeles. Based on the mostly great reviews, I had to give it a try. Considering my preferences in a strip club, and value for the money, this is one of the very best clubs I have visited.

Others have covered the layout in detail. I'll just say that the club is fairly small, but not too small. I don't like the huge clubs that many seem to enjoy. This one is just the right size to provide everything you could want but still have a feeling of intimacy.

The ladies were nearly all beautiful, with a nice mix of sizes and styles. On the night I was there, there was not a single one that was not enjoyable to watch on stage. I could have enjoyed a dance from any one of them. The guys at the stage were not tipping much, so I got lots of attention when I started laying down tips. I had three or four dances in the main room from different ladies. All of them were great dances, but different. Then I chose one pretty brunette to take to the VIP area. I forgot her name (I'm terrible with names), but I wish I could remember it, because I would certainly look her up again the next time I am in the area. Her dances were fantastic. She was not hurried at all, and was definitely not just going through the motions. Unless she was a great actress, she really enjoys her work. She provided and allowed all the mutual touching you can imagine (even if you have a vivid imagination!). I left very happy with the experience. I only wish I would have gone to the place earlier in the week, so I could have gone back every day until I had to leave for home. The Tropical Lei now one of my "don't miss it" places when I am in the LA area. Now if the southern Californians would just do something about the ridiculous traffic!


After a busted trip to Barely Legal in Pomona, my friends and I decided to make the short drive to Upland and visit the Tropical Lei. I was generally excited to go because I hadn't been here since July 2006 and have considered this my home club for some time since I first started visiting here way back in April of 1993. I have a lot of fond memories of this place everytime I walk in. I could literally write a book with the experiences I have had here and the girls that I have met. Maybe I will just stick with a trip review for now.

Arrived at around 10:00 on a Tuesday night to find it semi-busy. It seemed like the floor was more lit than I remember. Then again, I usually visited during the day where my eyes took time to adjust when walking in from the sun. Grabbed a seat on the back row of chairs and chatted it up with my friends as we scoped the scenery. Nice selection of women and not a whole lot that I recognized either. But that was cool because I was up to meeting some new girls for a change. I did recognize Shawnee after my friend pointed her out. Cute girl but much too skinny and boney for my taste. A great way to describe her is that she is pure trailer trash.

My friends weren't particularly enjoying themselves but that didn't stop me. I locked in on Jade - a tall latina with a sexy look to her. December 30, Saturday night, and I was locked into going to TL. I usually avoid weekend nights, and it's for two reasons: 1) there's just too much competition from the losers who sit googly-eyed without paying the girls a cent, but who'll happily chat them up for ten minutes before inevitably declining a lap dance, all while you wait impatiently for said loser to get his hand off her ass so she can come your way; and 2) too many of the girls aren't really into it.

At TL, a weekend night is even worse. Those high lap dance seats around the back get filled up with sad losers who can't be bothered to spend any money of their own, but who're are more than happy to gape open-mouthed at what you're paying for at a distance of two feet away. I'm convinced they sit there in wait for the voyeuristic thrill of mooching off your dearly bought lap. Simply put, it's creepy, it's an embarrassment to the male species, and it keeps you from having as good a lap as TL can offer (which can be off the charts).

The girls were good sports, however. Minali is a sweet-bodied, natural, short-haired, bright-eyed, happy Cahuenga Blvd type with skin on her behind so smooth it seems porcelain. You could fall in love with her in a heartbeat. She's a little precious to the touch, however; not really a TL girl and not VIP room material. Went in on a Saturday at around 1AM ish, once I entered they started to say they were closing shortly. Needless to say was kind of upset, but.... Believe it was a sales ploy since they closed at 3AM.... but was rushed to find a girl considering I believe they would be close soon... by the time I finally saw the "right" gal I was almost tapped out... but still overall my favorite club to visit

Club layout was OK. Stage is in the front and there are seats around and benches along the walls. The lighting was too low for me. There was a push for ladies drinks. The ladies are very friendly and very attractive. I also thought the servers were pretty too. This club was pretty busy for a Tuesday night and I was told the on the weekend the club is packed full. Dances can be had in the front or in the VIP lounge. I had a very good experience and would recommend this.

first of all, although there have been changes to the facility, the club is still dingy and dark. the most telling remark i can make is that the cocktail waitress was hotter than all the dancers except for two notables: pepper and joey.

Foothill Blvd. is actually the old Route 66, which kind of makes this place historic. The previous reviews do a good job of describing this place. The only thing I can add about the decor is there's like a 2 foot space between the tip rail/stage side and the actual stage. No up close and personal shows here I guess. In fact, the dancers seemed more interested in getting off the stage and back into the audience as soon as possible. I guess that's where the real money is made or negotiated.

Being my first time here, I actually wanted to spend more time in the main floor. They called a "Longest Dance of the Hour" special, which really didn't look too special. The dancers took the customers to a back wall with couches, but no clothes came off. Maybe the guys didn't put out enough cash for a better dance. I don't know. There were only about 6 girls working and only one girl approached me. She wasn't that good looking so I passed.


I spent most of my time in the VIP room, a series of poorly lit booths with curtains. The dancer said they had like 20 booths or rooms as she called them. Well, there were alot of them. And with this dancer, everything was on the menu for the right price. And I do mean everything.

But you are not here to check out the decor. The dancer clientele is mixed...usually a couple of lookers, couple of hideous looking creatures, with most of the dancers being average. Take the time and make a small investment to buy a dancer a drink and you will get a very good idea as to what kind of action is available. All the girls will do something, and some will give a lot, lot more. Price is always negotiable. I usually go for the 3 VIP dances. I don't think you get that much more bang for the buck in the 5 VIP dances.

I happened to find myself in this area due to a business trip. I have years of experience with Florida clubs but this took my club experience to a whole new level.

Before my trip, I researched this site to learn of the best clubs in the area. I visited this club the day before my return trip home. Kind of an odd time of day for me to stop by the club, but arrived at around 3:00 since I was in the area. Really slow when I walked in. Maybe three guys in the place, at the most. Went here for the first time yesterday afternoon. Just as others have written, it was tough to adjust to the darkness inside when coming in from daylight. In short, this seems to be the club to come to if you like uncomfortable seating, enhanced breasts, dull stage dances, and the option of FS private sessions in the back. When I first sat down after coming in the first girl approached me within seconds letting me know that she does FS. Another did so only about ten minutes later. I spent a couple of hours there getting $25 dances from about five girls and all but one were just OK. Girls were mostly average looking to somewhat above average. The FS girls came by at least three more times each before I left. Maybe it was a slow day for them. The one good dance was from Sasha. Great figure and dance. I might go back if I knew she was there, but otherwise probably not. This place really seems tilted for the customer who wants backroom service. For me, FS in a three or five song time span seems lame since there are so many other options elsewhere if that's what you're into. Paid $15 admission with a one drink ($5) minimum. For my tastes it gets a low rating. If you into FS on a short clock, you'd rate it much higher.

Decided to make the drive to Upland after the Angel game in Anaheim. I knew it was gonna be a long drive after 10:00 at night, but I figure it was worth it since I was starting to get bored with the Orange County clubs. Besides, I hadn't been to the TL in almost five months and can't remember when I was present during the night shift last.

Not a whole lot going on when I got there. Maybe a total of six customers in the room and three visible dancers, including the one on stage. My first trip was to the restroom because I had a couple of beers from the game that needed releasing. So when I got back out, I planted myself on the couch directly facing the stage. I still saw the same three dancers in the room but I slowly watched others come from the dressing room at their leisure. Here are a few names that I managed to catch:

- Courtney: very tall blonde, very thin, small A cups. Cute...
- Carolina: the only one I recognized there. Although I have never danced with her, I have seen her in my few times at the club at night. Very sexy older European beauty with a great rack.

First off the parking isn't so great at this club. Inside it kinda looks old and run down. The seating isn't very comfortable. The quality of the girls vary alot, ranging from pigs to very hot young girls. This club is run by the same guy who runs Hawaii Theatre and Flesh, so you know that mileage will be high. But that's only in the VIP. This club has two VIP sections, one for $120 and another for $200. That's alot of money to invest and you can't judge with the topless dances because they are not all that high mileage. If you already know a girl well and what she does, then this club is good. But if you're a new customer and don't know anyone then you can get ripped off. The mileage may make this club worth a visit, just be careful.

The club is very dark inside, particularly if entering from daylight. The attractive girls give excellent couch dances with lots of physical contact. You see by Braille. Permit the dancers to do the touching until you get to know them better. The dancing on stage is perfunctory. The girls really make their money through couch dances, particularly in the VIP room. The girls pay a house or stage fee for working in the club, and are reimbursed a certain amount for each couch dance. If a dancer does not perform sufficient couch dances during a shift, she can owe the house money. Watch out for the monitors who go through the club counting the number of couch dances performed by each dancer. They do not tolerate touching. I used to frequent this club a lot. But my favorite dancer, Isabel Strang, no longer works there. Isabel permitted her best customers to taste her forbidden fruit and did after hours work at her apartment. Of course all this after hours work was strictly against the club's rules.

this is one of those clubs where you can get as much as you want to pay for.....the girls are average but if you want to go where the "action" is this is the place......there are some lookers but most are average and make thier money by offering extras.....the layout is ok.....big stage in the middle with not so private seats in the back for lap dances.....there is a vip room in the back where most people end up....not the place to go and just hang out......i was getting hounded for dances from the second i sat down....but again if your looking for lots of "extras" this is the place

Very disappointed. There on a Friday afternoon. A bunch of girls and about 12 guys. Well for starters, they only do 2 dance sets, and then take one off – so you are left staring in space of one song. Then the did "stage maintenance" for 3 songs.
The place has the very uncomfortable side benches out in the open. So I was debating whether to spend $25 for an awkward dance. Watched other "lap" dances, and concluded that there was minimal contact, and definitely not worth $25 bucks. That's probably why there were so few being done. (When just a short time before, I have 4 great dances @ $10 at Baby Dolls.)
Will never go back. Ad would advise other not to bother. Wasted my $20 to find out. Maybe nights are better, but I doubt it.

My last visit was on 2-16-05. I went to visit a dancer friend that just started dancing here from another club. This club is small and dark, it gets full very fast. The seats are few and uncomfortable. On the other hand, most of the girls are high class good looking ones, almost no fat chicks in the house. Dancers attitude was very business-like, no nonsense, no friendly chit chat. You either want a dance, or they move on to the next guy. This night there were 21 girls working, at about 9 PM. Lots of girls, lots of hustle. The stage is small, but is also close up and personal. They have VIP private rooms at $120.00 for 3 songs and also $200.00 for 5 songs, total privacy, anything goes, but you must pay extra, lots of extra. Overall, I give it a good rating, but I prefer other clubs with more friendly atmosphere.

Being my first visit to a club of this nature, I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard rumors, but you never know when people exaggerate. I can tell you, though, this club is the real deal... if you pick the right dancer. It was a damn cold and rainy day, but the bouncer wouldn't let me keep my skull cap on. The only guess I have about this is they don't want you comfortable out front, but rather in the VIP room relaxing on a couch. Finally, there are bar rails in back with seats, but I couldn't tell if they were fixed or not (too damn far and dark).

I sat in one of the high-chair booths. Being cold in the main room, I paid $6 for a marginal cup of coffee. As soon as I got handed the coffee, this attractive dancer by the name of Crystal walked up and stood right between my legs and got friendly. Find the right girl and you'll have fun. I don't know much, but if you go during the day, Crystal is there Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with the occasional Friday. I don't know Destiny's schedule, but I've heard she's phenomenal and works days.

Excellent. The VIP room is very very high mileage. There were many beautiful girls, but the stage dancing didn't pick up until later in the evening, so don't expect it until after 9 pm. Along the left wall past the bar is a set of couches. If he head farther into the club you’ll notice two rows to tables surrounded by couches. These couches in the back are where the lap dances are done. There also a VIP room which is behind the bar.

The club offers several types of dances. The public lap dances on the back couches are $25 topless and $40 nude. The club also offers private VIP booths. There two VIP section with private booths. The standard VIPs are 3 nude dances for $40. The deluxe VIPs are 5 dances for $200. After receiving the minimum number of required dances in the VIP section you may continue your session at a cost $40 per song.

The dancers are mostly white with a few Latinas thrown in the mix. There an Asian or two running around. This good mix of body types here range from thin to “thick boned”.

The place has seen better times. During my last couple visit I’ve notice number of customers slow been declining have been down, that along with the high cost of the VIP room, the dancer are some aggressive when it comes to hustling dances.

Also there is a strong drink hustle here. On busy nights they have three waitresses here hustling for dancers drinks, which are $6.00 a pop. Given the size the club three waitress is an overkill, so once a dancer sits down next to you expect to be hit up for a drink.

The only saving grace about this club is mileage. With the right girl and the right tip the sky is the limit here.


Went in for a visit on a Saturday afternoon. Since they have raised the price of an average lap dance in the main area to $25, I think business has fallen off. There were only about six girls working in the afternoon. There are now a few girls who have a lot of trouble with the English language. The push to buy drinks seems to be worse. Avoid a dancer named luscious. She is not. A blonde named Sasha does a pretty nice dance. Check things out before buying.

Went recently on a Sunday, early evening. The couches and furnishings are new and fancy. There were very few dancers there.
