This club isn't Rick's anymore. They've sold it and it's now part of the Deja Vu chain. I've never been to anyother DV club, but this one has gone fully (they still have real women!) automated. For private dances, you put your money into a bill reader. No longer are you waiting for the next song to start, you put the money in and go. I've never been anywhere quite like it, but I don't get around much. The booths were nice, much better than the set up under the Rick's ownership.

There were not as many good looking women there as under the Rick's name. Could have been the night I was there (Wednesday). I'll give it another try sometime.

Went here three times..First time was lucky as I found a beautiful dancer who was hot, smart, polite and made me come...went there the other two times hoping to find her but found ugly/old dancers who wouldnt even bother to act sensuous.

This club has improved their quality of Dancers, at least on many nights. The girls that danced for me have been very good, and nice. The tip rail/stage dances are pretty hot. I generally go to the club on Mondays through Thursday, the club is not real busy on those days. The wait staff is doing their job, if you know what I mean.

They do run VIP specials, and for some reason on some days the VIP area is a little lighter (you can see more) than on other days. The DJ is pretty good. The price to value is good.

Not a bad club. The dancers are attractive, but not show stoppers. On a Thursday night, there were about 10 dancers. A few 8's. Some had some nice tight bodies, but didn't put the whole package together. Very laid back. I had two dancer (can't remember names). One in the VIP was nice, but the no contact rule really slows things down. The other was a table dance which was much more sensual, although no contact still.

Have been to Rick's thrice, and each experience proved exactly the same. In a word, disappointing. Why three times, you ask? Stuck in the area, nothing to much better to do, and the ever eternal optimist. Unless someone else TOFTT, I won't set foot in again. Reasons: Bad service, bad dances, and not so attractive dancers. These three strikes are more than this patron can bare.

The club itself was not all that from a facility perspective. Would recommend Centerfolds for a much better ambiance and dance (although a much higher hustle factor there). None of the dancers at Rick's seemed either interested in their work, or particularly happy to be working there. It's one thing to know that you are being looked at as a big dollar sign, it is another thing to feel that way. I would not recommend, unless drunk and with a bunch of buddies who can help on the entertainment side.

Stopped by on a Wed afternoon. Business was slow with 4-5 patrons and 8-10 girls. The girls seemed frustrated by this and said that business had been suprisingly slow lately. The cover charge was $5 to get in and patrons are required to buy expensive ongoing drinks. My Diet Coke was $9. Overall the girls were fairly cute (more 6s and a few 8s) and very friendly as you can imagine with only a few patrons. Therefore, it was a buyers market and I got lots of extra attention and had an outstanding trip to the VIP room . Couch dances are $10, VIP dances are $30 and you are required to get 2 at a time. They also offered a frequent special in the VIP at 2 for 1. I went with the VIP 2 for 1 and stayed for additional dances. I was happy to know that songs are "normal" length. I spent more money than I would have liked, but had a good time and found the lap dances in the VIP room to be very friendly.

Recently renamed "Ricks". New stage and new VIP area that is very dark. Bouncers can not see into the area easily, ladies get away with more than at other area clubs. For the most part, Ladies are either new to the profession, or of a quality less than other clubs accept. Once in a while you can find a new girl that is very exciting. The VIP area can get expensive. Be aware of the club scam in asking if you want to buy the lady an extremely expensive drink. They forget to mention the "extremely expensive" part. The waitress will do this many times while you are there.

When I'm in Sacramento, this is THE club for me. I have never had a bad experience there and Tuesday, 5/17/05 was no exception. When I entered at 9PM, things were pretty slow, with maybe 10 customers and a handful of dancers visible (although more were apparently in the dressing room). After watching a few dancers that were OK but not my type, SOLEIL took the stage. She is a sweetie with a nice smile, great long straight dark hair down to her waist, a curvy but trim body, and perfect soft natural B-C breasts. Her dancing was slow and very sensual. The standard stage routine in this club is for the dancers to get topless in their first dance and fully nude in the second. By the time SOLEIL was into her second dance, I was getting aroused.

When SOLEIL finished her two dances, I offered a generous tip and she readily agreed to private dancing for me. While waiting for the next full dance, she cuddled with me, topless, holding my hand and chatting. She was bright and was impressed that I knew that soleil is "sun" in French. She laughed about the guys who have no clue about her name, asking her if it has something to do with suntan lotion (Ban de Soleil). Very exciting time with her. Although the lap dance rules are restrictive compared to some locales, that shouldn't deter you. If you pick the right dancer, you will leave very satisfied. SOLEIL was the right dancer for me. Without going into details, let me say that she used all of her body to stimulate me in very creative, gentle, sensual ways. It doesn't get much better than this, in my experience.

I spent so much time with SOLEIL that I was ready to leave when we stopped. However, during our session, I noticed a number of other potentially interesting dancers on stage. Most, if not all of them, had natural bodies, which are prevalent in this club, which caters to a somewhat older more sophisticated clientele. I am turned off by implants and one of the reasons I go to this club is that they have many natural dancers. The night I was there, the dancers ranged from about 5-9, with lots of different body types. I think all were caucasian.

The club facility is outstanding. The location feels totally safe and the interior is clean. There is no hassle factor from anyone, either the DJ, or the dancers, or the waitresses. Except for the restrictive Sacramento area rules, this place would be a 10.

15 min from Sacramento and worth the drive (I 50 east toward South Lake Tahoe). Parking is very well lit. Very Clean club-$5 cover but you need a $5 drink every 20mins. The door guy told me to tell my server I wanted the after 9:Pm special ($9 dollars for a all night drink). The girls where from a 6-9. The two stages where going all the time with nice friendly strippers ( a nice change). The Music /Ligting system there is top notch and is important to me. My server even stopped by to view the "tail" in my face. She made me feel very welcome, stayed awhile and the two of them (dancer and server) made my head/s think a lot. No pressure at all from anyone. I went on Monday night. 2 for $20 lapdance specials - The area is not really any more than a raised partion of the club (this was my only complaint). You are probably best to stay at the stages and tip well. I will return without a doubt.

Went to Risky Business mothers day evening, Mom lives in another state so my obligations were complete. Got there about 6 and there were 4 girls working and about the same number of peoople. The club is well described in other posts. The DJ has, I was told, been recently changed and the one there when I got there was much better than described. I have been to Risky Business before a long time ago and was not impressed but this time I was very pleasantly surprised. I stayed about 3 and 1/2 hours and more girls arrived till there were maybe 10 or 12 by the time I left. Virtually all were above a 7, most 8's and some definite 10's. Very nice stage work, very very nice bodys and faces. I was told by one of the girls who was new that they have gotten very picky about who works there. It certainly looked like it to me.

I watched for awhile and got a dance from a gorgeous Jennifer Aniston looking beauty who was a sweet as pie but very good on the couch. As usual in Sacramento the dance was tame but at least they have gotten beyond the air dance of a couple of years ago. Good grind, not too hard, just nice motion. Nice work with the chest and body and calf plus lots of smiles and the appearance of enjoying herself.

At least this night the place was very low preasure which is nice. Later I got chatted up by a blonde with a really fine body, former ballet and gymnast, that was new from Las Vegas. Same level of lap dance and very nice to talk to also and seemed genuinely happy to talk to me and make me happy. I have always figured that there is an element of reality to this and an element of unreality. If it wasn't for the money this girl wouldn't be talking to me but now that we are it's sometimes mearly tolerable for them and sometimes fun. I got the distinct impression that she was having fun which made it fun for me. Spent about 6 dances with her over the evening.

All in all a very enjoyable night, not high milage like Florida, LA or other places but not air like Phoenix. A pleasant surprise.

Risky Business is located about a block South of the US Hwy 50/Sunrise Boulevard Interchange in Rancho Cordova. Look to the left at the stoplight opposite the Wendy's, and you can see the building.

The building is a warehouse-style setup, with ample parking. No valet service is available.

The cover charge is $5.00, except on Friday and Saturday nights, when it rises to $8.00. The club is nude, with no alcohol. Once inside, you must have a drink with you at all times, with a single drinks $5.00, and "bottomless" drinks $9.00. Sitting at the tip rail, you are required to tip $1.00 per dance.

Inside, the club is basically an open rectangle, with the bar running along the North wall, stages on the East and South walls, and a long benche on the West wall. The stages are about 8'x 8', with a step-down area around the stage, and a surrounding tip rail seating about 15 people at each stage. In the center of the club, away from the stages, are cocktail tables and chairs.

The atmosphere is dark, but loud (or even louder, depending on the DJ). Lots of lights effects with fog at each stage. (Note: there is much black lighting over the dance benches. If you don't want to glow in the dark and stick out well for the bouncers, don't wear white or light colors). There are about four or five televisions set around the club with sporting events on when available. Music is 80's/90's/contemporary (a bit too much hiphop and brain-melting goth rock for my taste, but hey, I'm not 18 anymore).

The DJ's are anywhere from semi-unobtrusive to annoyingly obnoxious depending on the night (if you find "club420" jokes and other similar semi-veiled drug humor funny, these DJ's are your type of guys). As usual, they'd be better served by just announcing the dancers and playing the music, but don't.

The women run are mostly around average, with a few real beauties, and a few that have stayed at the dance too long. While there are a few black dancers, mostly white, latino, and asian, in that order. Rotations run about 10 to 15 on the weekdays, and 20 to 30 on weekends, but I've seen it as low as 5 girls on a weekday night.

During slow times, one stage is closed, and the dancers work two dances on the main (South) stage. During busy times, both stages are open, and depending on the size of the rotation, the dancers will dance one or two dances per stage.

Most dancers will patrol the room between stages for dances. Depending on the size of the crowd, you may just get the "wanna dance" drive-by, or the dancer will come over and talk to you awhile before popping the question.

Topless dances are usually $20 each. There are supposed to be bikini dances ($10) and nude dances (?), but I haven't seen or had them offered.

During normal times, the usual routine is for the dancer to take you over to the benches located on the perimeter of the building (west side of the building, or the northeast and southeast corners), and give you your dances there. During busy times, the dances are sometimes giving right at your table.

Rules of the dance is as at all Sacramento clubs "no touch - hands on the couch". Mileage can be minimal to "try to grind her backside to your spinal column" friction. I find that a lot of the girls are hard to predict here - the nasty looking ones aren't, the non-commital looking are the hottest dancers, and the gorgeous ones may or may not, but you're going to pay to find out...

At this club, my experience says that if you try one dance, you'll get the "B" dance; two dances will usually her "A" dance, and after that, it's just the same over and over. So, if you don't like what you got in the first two dances, move on. The dancers will ask if you want to keep on going "for the dirty dances", but 95% of the time, they won't be.

The waitresses are polite and attentive if you are, and the bouncers are low-key except during overflow crowds, when they really have to patrol aggressively.

All in all, you can have a nice time at Risky Business.

Lows: No private VIP or booth areas. DJ's who should go back to their day jobs...except, they're musicians! They don't work...

Highs: A fairly nice club (they even have clean restrooms with doors on the stalls). Nice girls, with a few diamonds hidden among them ;) Staff is usually easy-going and courteous.

Enjoy!
