This is a downtown hostess club. Cover charge is five dollars to get in. Once in you can choose among several ladies who are waiting around. In this club they are almost all Hispanic. It helps to speak a little Spanish, although many know at least some English.

Once you choose a lady, she clocks in. You pay $27 per hour for her time. You then go into the next room where there is a dance floor and you can dance close. They also have several seats where you can sit and talk or whatever. She will probably ask for a juice which is four dollars. You can sit close, put your arm around her, and while you are talking maybe grope a little bit, and even be groped a little. There is security who pops in the room now and then, and the girls act worried about doing anything too obvious, as the seats are open to view throughout the room. Too bad they aren't more secluded.

When you get tired, or think maybe you have spent enough money, you return with the girl to clock out. You pay at that time. So you have to watch or you could get a big bill. Obviously she wants to keep you as long as she can so that she is on the clock. You can also tip her as you leave. When i was there the girl I was with said she didn't date outside the club.

Ok so after I visited the club that I was asked to look at, I decided to check out a place that I have only read about. The place was on 4th street in LA and is called Club Fantasy. This is a very unique kind of club, it is what they call a hostess club. Let me give you the basics, you enter this non-strip club and pay a very low cover charge. I paid 7.00 and you are then put into a room with between 15-20 girls. You pick the girl you like and she will punch a time clock. This club charges 30 per hour. Once you pick a girl you can go to a secured dance floor and dance. If things are going well you can sit on a couch and simply cuddle and talk. Obviously the girl wants to keep you as long as possible. This use to be called "taxi dancing". It was started in the 1930's and I have only seen and heard about it in LA. I figured I should give it a try. I drove to Club Fantasy around 5:00 and was stopped by a tall mexican security guard. I was not allowed to enter because I had on shorts. My shorts were docker shorts to the knee but he pointed to the rules and rule 2 said NO SHORTS. Ok so I went back to my room and watched a little tv. My interest was peeked and after talking myself into it I decided to change and make the 1/2 hour drive back. It was now around 10:00 and I walked in and was greeted by the same security guard. (side note, this club was the hardest club to find, it took me 30 minutes once I was in the vicinity BOTH times!) I walked down the stairs and into a long hall way with the words "Club Fantasy" painted on the wall. I walked thru a door and was greeted by an asian guy that reminded me of Arnold from Happy Days. I paid my 7.00 and walked into the main room. The room was rather large resembling a church basement. There were some round tables and chairs and a very long bar to the left of the club. To the right were 3 arcade games from the early 80's. Towards the back was a blocked dance floor and vip couch room. Now when I say blocked I mean a velvet rope, I was able to see everything that was going on in the other areas. The blocked areas are reserved for couples only. Since I was new and kind of lost I simply stood at the bar with about 15 mexican guys. I was thinking ok should I talk about chico and the man or should I just stay silent. I smiled and nodded at a few but really just observed and took it all in. I was reminded of a 7th grade dance where all the guys stayed on one side of the gym and the girls stayed on the other side. I was kind of shocked that none of these guys were going up to any of the girls. I decided to move towards the forbidden velvet rope and peek in. I watched some short guys try and fast dance with tall girls, I then watched the vip area and saw guys with their arms around the girls just sitting there. This went on for about 60 minutes before I decided that I had enough. I have to admit that reviewing this is difficult, you see it is not a srip club but rather a club where guys can mingle with women. I for one wasnt really into that, I kind of felt sorry for the guys. They reminded me of the loser kids in high school that would do anything to just sit with a girl, in fact I could have sworn I saw one guy doing a girls math homework while I was there, ok thats a joke. The school of thought on the club is that you dont feel like an atm machine and are there to just enjoy their company, since most of the women didnt speak english I didnt really have to much to say. Now I have heard that it is possible to get more out of this club and that the girls will do things in the vip or after hours. I didnt see anything that would lead me to believe that. All in all I wish I did pick someone but I didnt want to waste another hour there. If you have ever been there or to any club like this let me know. I did hear of another club like this that did offer more but when I went to it later on I found that it had been closed for some time.

The number of dancers on duty was closer to 11 than to 25.
Sundays and Mondays and Tuesdays are slower nights than the rest. On the one hand, it's good because there is less congesion and it is easier to find a place to sit with the girl. On the other hand, selection is limited. And since these clubs are not necessarily known for their gorgeous women, I had to bide my time. Eventually, I found someone who proved to more than cooperative. So this time I left happy. Recently, there has been some talk about management clamping down on dancer action. But this has happened before and things usually go back to normal after a period of time. It's still my club of choice in the LA area, strip clubs included. Strip clubs in the area are, in my opinion, pretty lame. In this club, I definitely get more bang for the buck.... most of the time.

Visited several months ago and it was interesting visit. My first time to a hostess club. The girls varied from 6-8, 80% latinos, 20% caucasion. There were many immigrant men customers in the waiting area, just ogling the women, but never doing anything else. Seems odd, they may have been waiting for someone to arrive, but I think it may be that they could not afford to pay the time charges, but just liked to look at women, since the cover was low (or was there a cover? can't recall). Anyway, sat with a young one first, she said it was her first night working, hard to tell if she was lying. So it just didn't seem right to fondle. Ultimately moved to a very raunchy one, with tits hanging out of a revealing dress. Good grinding on the dance floor and good mileage on the couch. She asked for some money upfront, i guess because i wasn't a regular.

I agree with most that the previous poster has stated. There are a handful of these kinds of clubs in Downtown Los Angeles. And the tradition goes back probably to the 30's, when it was more like a dime a dance instead of 50 cents per minute. This is, without a doubt, the best of the clubs. There is a wide assortment of girls, not just Hispanic. And you are likely to see different girls on different nights. Much like at strip clubs, your mileage will vary. The best strategy for this uncertainty is, if the girl is not very cordial and cozy right from the get-go, cut your losses and check her out. No sense wasting time and money. You need to be choosy, and you can generally find what you're looking for. You won't find stunning women here. But you can find some very nice-looking and friendly ones, if you are patient. The advantage is that it's lot cheaper than a night at the strip club if you dance a lot. And given that it's LA, you'll probably do better here than at most strip clubs in the area.

Hostess clubs are an interesting alternative to strip clubs, and this is the best of them, but there are a few things to watch out for. Like hostess clubs generally, it's a great place if you want to talk to, dance with and make out with hot hispanic girls, but not if you enjoy traditional lapdances, you want a more varied selection of girls, you need alcohol or nudity, or you just want to watch a stage show without getting up close and personal.

The place is arranged just like a regular nightclub, with a dance floor playing slow music and a large number of dimly lit couches. As in any other club, you will see couples either dancing or sitting together and making out. The only difference is that the couches and dance floor are off-limits to everyone except couples, and all the girls are paid. They line up on a row of seats a few

Dancing or sitting with a girl costs 50 cents a minute, with most expecting a tip of about the same for serious grinding. It's possible to get away with tipping less than that (or not at all), and some girls will offer additional "services": It's common to see guys getting what look like hand jobs, and I've had girls offer to meet me outside the club. I prefer just to enjoy the grinding/groping, which at $1 per minute (including tip) compares well to lapdances at strip clubs.

The big problem is that there is often a poor selection in the evening, as all the hotter girls tend to be taken. And they can easily spend an hour or more with a customer, so it isn't like a strip club where a girl can almost always find a few minutes for everyone. Girls will also refuse to dance with a customer if they're expecting a regular or they suspect that you won't tip them.

Very little mileage with security everywhere..

What's up with the CF lately? I have only been able to get "lucky" here twice in the last year, in about six or seven trips. You can still find good girls, but you really have to search and try a couple. The two that I did have fun with were both Mexican. Stay away from the American girls, you will have no chance of scoring there. Mexican girls are more fun, and if you don't speak Spanish, they speak better English than the other Latin American girls. Plus they have those lovely Behinds!

First of this place is in downtown LA and this part of LA is rather seedy with a lot of homeless, pan handlers, bums and worse there so if you have an expensive car park in a lot or take the metro - there is a station less than a block away. There is meter parking around.

This place reminds me a school dance; girls sit in groups on the right chatting with each other and guys on the left choosing, getting up their courage or just plain gauking. Many guys seem to be just using this place as a place to watch girls or what worries me is their girlfiends may be working here and they are watching who goes with them.

According to the sign the cost is $27 for an hour but they charge $30 so either they charge tax not listed or they need to replace the sign. They have no alcohol but they have soda, water and snacks; the soda is watered down and has ice but they have a nice vanila chai (tea) with whipped cream for $3. It is not required to buy a drink but you need to have a drink to sit at a table.

Back to the girls ... the girls generally sit in groups talking or chatting on cell phones. They are of mixed ethnics, white, asian and latino but no blacks the night I went. Shapes varried from far too many pounds to slim and most common outfit was dresses or skirts so legs men will love that. Latinos dominated, both fake blondes and brunettes, and cliental as well. The girls do not seem to talk to guys so you need to approach them to ask them to dance. The dance floor is in the back and music goes from soft to almost too loud to talk. There are booths to sit but all of the sitting is in the open so you are not going to get much past first base especially since security is prevalant.

I do not know if the girls get a percentage of the fee but the girl I danced with seemed to expect at least as much tip as fee; she said she was new (2 weeks) so I did not know if her expections were high, low or typical. You can not dance for an hour at a time according to my partner; she was immediately picked up by a guy so I do not know if the rule is true or she spotted a regular.

Interesting place but I am not sure the advantage of it over a regular strip club. Girls have less tattoos showing but they also show less flesh. I am sure there are girls who are easy pitchers but it would take a lot or money to figure who.



I had to try this one out as it came highly recommended. It was also the first time going to a hostess club. What I liked was the dance was an hour and $27 for the whole hour. You can talk or dance or do both.

A hostess club was very different and not what I was expecting. I had so much fun with this one gal who made my day. She liked to talk and dance. She even sat on my lap. I offered her a drink too.

The cover here is only $5 and the drinks are reasonable too. I spent a little cash here but after the hour I had to move on to another club. I will return to this one. The staff was so nice.

I haven't had time to write my review. I went down to CF a couple of weeks ago, it took me a few mins to find it, not use all the one way streets in downtown. Once I got there, easy parking right next door.

As I walked around the corner from the parking, I was about the check the street address when the smell of a "club" came out the closest door. That was the place. The entrance is on street level and goes down stairs. Only $5.00 to get it any time you go there.

I ended up getting there a little early, at 5:00pm, not too many girls waiting to talk. Must of them were busy with what looked like regulars, and as soon as they were done they'd get grabed by another. I waiting around for almist an hour, drinking expensive cokes until I saw a nice Asain girl arrive. We header back to the counchs.

Once we got back to the couches, we tried a couple until I found one which suited my nature. The in the back left corner which seemed like we could be a little naughty. I got one of the few asian girls, but there's a lot of hispanic looks and a couple of white girls, medium to petite, I like mine petite, so you choose. We talked for almost an hour. She was very nice to me, and when I say talked, we talked and mutually rubbed each other, if you could see my face, I've got a big smile just thinking about that day.

By 8PM the place was packed with guys walking around looking for the right girl.

Anyways, I think I'll go back and visit her next week. She said to come early at 6PM if I wanted to get her before it got busy.


After VIP closed in industry, one of the girls I was friends with from there started to work at Club Fantasy, so I tried it out a few times and was less than impressed, so I didn't go back for a long time, but the other night I was in a hostess club mood so I decided to give it another chance.
Well I was pleasantly surprised to find some things have changed for the better there. Unfortunately the clubs's atmosphere was not one them. They keep that place hot, I couldn't tell whether it was everyone's body heat, lack of adequate ventilation or a combination of the two that was making it like that, but I do remeber it being very hot on my previous trips as well, I even joked with one of the waitresses telling her I would bring my own fan next time, she gave me a courtesy laugh, but I am pretty sure the hint didn't get passed on to anyone that mattered.
The drinks are cheaper than a strip club but you get what you pay for, I ordered a coke, and for my 2 dollars I was given a styrofoam cup that was one notch bigger than a dixie cup, with ice in too. I didn't really care though, i was not there for the atmosphere or the drinks.
The club was packed with about 30+ girls on a thursday night, as with most hostess clubs you gotta get there a bit early though to get the hot ones, cuz after 10 the regulars usually have them clocked in until 12:30 - 1:15 when they promptly get dressed and leave (even though the club is open till 2)
I got got kinda lucky though, a cute latina girl (mariah i think was her name) showed up a little late and i grabbed her before her regular that was waiting for her could. I don't speak spanish and she wasn't that great with her english, but that didn't get in the way, and the nasty factor was better than any strip club I have been to i nthat area.
Of course there is an element of secrecy involved, you don't want the guard floating around to see you doing anything cuz he may tell you to calm it down a bit, but it didn't really seem like he was looking to me. The waitress was cool walked up to us once when the girl was "stick shifting" me, and she made a joke and was cool about it. The action was all hands but it was my hands as well hers that were playing, all in all I was quite satisifed and will go back agian, I just wish they would get some damn ventialtion in hte place

Visited CF on 12/20 and didn't have all that good of a time. Rather slow and boring, and didn't stay much into the night. Most of the girls seemed to be arriving late, and plenty of guys did out number those present like 2 to 1.

Did take up a dance from a young latina girl, who claimed to have been working there for a month. She didn't know much about grinding and seemed to think she was there to merely do some dancing and flirting. Danced about 3 songs, and sent her packing, as she wasn't going to produce. While on the floor, did spot another taller latina that was giving all she could out there and then disappeared to the TVroom couches. Only spotted her one other time later in the evening, being clocked out by a regular. She seemes to get around.

Left by 8pm, when the dance floor started to empty and security seemed to have clean view of everything. One guy did get escorted out, rather quietly.

I'll be back later on. So far the holiday help hasn't blossomed for me, at least not yet....
