Downstairs and smokey. This place was a combination of video on a large screen and a live act which went down to g-string only. The ambience was average, with a bar off to one side. I expected a lot more for the AS$15 cover charge.
A group of us (3) went in together. We booked a dance which was expensive at AS$75 each, and again the girl only went down to her g-string. We were well-behaved and chatty, so we weren't being offensive. The dance itself was in a private room and was just around a pole, so there was no intimacy.
Drinks were slightly expensive at AS$8 for a G and T or beer. This isn't a place I would visit again as I don't believe I got value for money.
Very nice place. It has a big stage with a runway in the middle. Seats are very strategically located next to the runway so the gals can perform anywhere on the runway. It does get a bit crowded at nite but other than that the strippers are friendly and the most atmosphere is awesome. By the way, if you've been to Men's Gallery in Sydney you will notice some familiar faces there at Pure Platinum because they are both from the same company. So have fun and enjoy.
Pure Platnum is situated just near the Pitt St Mall in the middle of Sydney. As such it does not get a lot of passing custom and tends to rely on regulars. The last visit I had their was on a Thursday night and much to my surprise the club has gone full nude Mon - Wed plus the occasional Thurs. They still have private shows but I don't know why you would bother when you can sit at the tables have a drink and see a number of fully nude females do their thing. Of the three sister clubs PP, Mens Gallery and Dancers, this is in my opinion, the least interesting club. The girls are not interested in talking to customers and would rather just sit in a corner until they go on stage. Part of this is probably caused by the fact that the night I was there, there were only about 20 men in the club but I would pass, even allowing for the full nude (the girls are a 4 - 7 only). If you must visit, do so Mon - Wed so you at least get sometnig to see.
This club is a clone of it's sister clubs right down the street (Men's Gallery).
The two clubs in the CBD are both on Pitt Street about 5-6 blocks from each other. The are pretty much interchangable so pick the one you're closer to and go have fun. I stopped into both of them tonight.
Both clubs are in very safe locations. The clubs are upscale and classy places. They have the standard runway/back tables layout. The cover is $20 to get in, but nobody hassles you for "a tip" to get a good seat.
The girls are a mix some sixes all the way up to nines. Whatever type is your favorite, you'll find someone to your liking. They have the stick model types and they have the curvy sensual types. All of the girls really look like they are enjoying themselves. The girls really work the runway unlike some places where the girls have this bored look as they roll their hips. The girls have personality.
The only downside to these two clubs is the looooooooong time that one girl is up on the stage before they change to a new dancer. Most girls were up on the stage for 15-20 minutes. Come on management, we like the girls, but let's have a different girl up there every 7-10 minutes. I really think that they would make more money because once you've tipped the girls once or twice, you're not digging in again to have another look.
Mon - Wed 5pm-late they dance all the way down to nude. The rest of the time they keep the g-string on. When you tip, you get a peek...so keep on tipping guys...

Previously they only went down to their g-string on stage, forcing you to fork out for a private dance to check out the full package. Only one dancer on stage at a time early in the evening, with 4 or 5 girls working the room without being pushy. Had a private dance (AU$60 per 15 min before 9pm, then about $85 after 9) with a hot Czech blonde babe. Had all the right moves, but as with other Sydney clubs it is strictly no touching.
Was a regular at Mens' Gallery back in 2006. Gotta say it's a very nice place because of the amount of pretty gals available. During the day especially lunch time its packed, mostly with office men who goes there for lunch and some entertainment.
Try to look for Becky. She's a very sultry stripper there. Enjoy and have fun.

If you are looking for a good night out with lots of eye candy and some really good topless dancing then this is the place to go. The girls rate from 7's to 9.5's and are willing to take the time to sit and talk. The private shows are 90+ dollars for 15 minutes with the occasional special of 60 earlier in the night. Private shows are stage, not lap and no contact is allowed. There are cameras and security staff do regular sweeps through the lounge. If you have a good relationship with a girl she is often happy to sit with you on a couch (although she has to be "clothed" before she can get off the stage) and you may get a bit of a feel depending on the girl. Best girls to try and hook up with are Krista, natalia and Zoe as they are all very entertaining and the first two have been known to put on a VERY intense two girl show which leaves nothing to the imagination.
I noticed the last reviews were from 2005, the prices have gone up to $95 for 15 mins but this place does have the best girls in Sydney particularly after 9pm. Fridays in particular finds you in a world of sexiness surrounded by girls of all shapes, sizes and all levels of horniness. Pick the right girl and the private show goes off! Unfortunately the no touching rule is strictly enforced but hit it off with the right girl and there are subtle ways around the rules. Drinks however are expensive and with a couple of mates the night gets expensive very quickly, but for the eye candy on offer you quickly forget the cost and just enjoy. A smoking section towards the back of the club and there are up to 4 podiums with girls on them when it gets really busy.
Atmosphere wise this is the best club in Sydney - bar none. It is the upmarket sister club to Pure Platinum and Dancers and being in the centre of the business district attracts a lot of "suits"
The down side is that the rules in NSW suck! The main areas are limted to topless podium dancing and the private shows are full nude but once again on a podium. Touching is a complete no-no.
If you are happy to go with this, you will have a good time, the girls are friendly and are willing to sit and talk for a while before asking for a private show.

Tipping dollars are only $2 each and you can have a good night just having a couple of drinks sitting at the podium.

Visting from overseas, had to check out the local SC scene on Thu 4/8/04). Overall the women are beautiful (7,8,9's) with a $20 cover charge to get in or you can ask your hotel bell-hop for a free pass ;) It's was disappointing to find out that they don't do "lap" dances but they do offer private shows for 15min/30min/1hr etc ($80/$160/$300) where the dances get fully nude and a lot closer. No contact was being strictly enforced on Thursday night. It's a good place to see and chat with great Aussie beauties but drinks at $8.50/each can make total cost add up really quickly.
