I stopped into Skin this past weekend, I had a good time. Got there mid evening (8:30 or so) and had no problem finding a place to sit (which is not always the case if you stop in later on a weekend). The waitstaff was excellent, very attractive to boot. I'd rate the dancers to be in the 6-8 range, none looked like they didn't belong. The dances were ok, some grinding, a little touching but that was about it. They ran dance specials throughout the night (2 for 1, 3 for 2) which was also nice. Gripes? Why is the DJ (manager) always so angry? Every time I stop in he's literally yelling at the customers, is that really necessary? Overall, not the best club in the Phoenix area but still worthy of an occasional stop.

Well, I'm trying to figure this place out. I was there in the afternoon and stayed for 3 dancers doing double sets. Everyone--dancers, DJ, waitress-- seemed to be mildly pissed off. No one asked me if I wanted a dance. I don't think they asked any of the (10 or so) customers if they wanted dances.The waitress took my drink before I was done. Dancers disappeared into the back after their stage dances. A couple dancers were drinking at the bar and a couple smoking outside. It wasn't clear how many dancers were actually working. The dancers that I saw weren't bad looking, except they became invisible once they left the stage.

After I left, I saw an ad for Skin in the New Times. It advertised two-for-one drinks and dances all day and all night. Except my drink wasn't 2/1. And, if they never dance for anyone, it's difficult to see the value in 2/1 dances. I had heard elsewhere that Skin is now paying a salary to its dancers. That might factor into this puzzle somewhere. Go to work, smoke, drink, hang out, get paid, and don't bother with cheap dances. Anyway, that's my best guess. Bizarre.

Was here this past Tuesday with biz associates. It was okay. We all thought the dancers were below average. The dances had almost no contact. We left after about an hour and a few of us trying a few different girls. Just not a fun time or experience. I don't know what's going on but I would stay away from this place for a while. I am hoping to check out the desert Flame again sometime this weekend. Hopefully I will have a post on their board in the next few days.

Stopped in at lunch time - this day no cover and lunch was being served. All winter I have been driving by at lunch time and seen the parking full of pickups. Tuesday, I had some free time and stopped in. EMPTY. Me and 3 dancers. to their credit, they each danced a full stage show. Got asked for a dance by one girl but, she was pretty perfumy and I didn't really want to go back to work smelling like her. There were at first 3 blondes early 20's maybe that old. Then came a little more " mature" dancer. light brunette smoking body and some real personality. Pretty fair couple dances when she came off the stage.

The vibe during the day is different than any other club that I know in the Valley. "Low key" and friendly are two phrases that come to mind. It has an upscale look, with a state of the art video and music system. There were about a half dozen customers and a half dozen dancers while I was there. Every girl had a cute coed look. Mostly 7s, with maybe a 6 and an 8. My guess is that many of them were ASU coeds. The girls seem to view the club as a social club for them as much as a job. They spent more time chatting among themselves than dancing. I found that a refreshing change from the many hard sell, "wanna dance" clubs in town. Though, it can be frustrating if there is someone in particular who you want to get a dance from. The dances were below average mileage by Phoenix standards, but there was some contact. I found the whole experience a pleasant change of pace.

I made another recent stop into Skin, it's a nice little club, the girls are attractive and friendly, the dances are ok (some mutual contact, nothing to write home about though), for the most part I like it, with the following qualifier, it's much too crowded on the weekend nights, it can be hard to find a seat, I'd recommend avoiding it at that time. Other issues, too many "Reserved" tables (i.e. doorman wanting money from you for a seat), much too loud music and too many snobbsdale douchbags hanging around trying to pick up the girls. Overall though, if you go early and are able to find a good seat, chances are you will have a good time.

I am a woman offering my perspective. My husband and I went there on a Saturday in May 2007 at early evening. We were not charged a cover charge, probably due to the time of day. It was too dark inside and we had a difficult time seeing our way to a table. The music was extremely loud with a pounding base quality to it. The club is very small with the stage front and center. There were around 10 men in the club, all who were quiet. It was so dark that I could not see the dancers performing their lap dances, yet knew they were. There were only about 4 dancers, and they were all too skinny and flat chested. None of the dancers approached us and we did not feel comfortable in this club at all. We drank one beer and left. We will not go back.

I made the mistake of going here on a Saturday night...
It was probably the single busiest club I've ever seen. Parking was almost impossible (I had to park in front of someone's house about a 5 minute walk away, as the actual club parking lot had room for about 20 cars, and there were probably 150-200 people in the [small!] club).
The club itself was pretty nice. Even though it was very small and massively overcrowded, it had some pretty cool features. It was reasonably well taken care of (clean, not too shabby, etc), and they quite obviously catered to some "high rollers." There were lines of limos out front, reserved seating, etc.
Finding a seat was very tough -- and when I finally did find one, my view of the stage was mostly obscured.
The girls were mostly pretty hot. Lots of 8's and 9's, even a few 10s. Only saw one or two that didn't appeal to me. Like all of Arizona, the dances were topless only and $10 (which is just awesome).
The girls were basically working nonstop, so the few who came by really just did drive-byes. A little bit of a hard sell, kind of cordial, and mostly hands-off... they appeared somewhat disinterested, really. But then again, they were working almost non-stop and in most cases had guys lining up in wait, so they had no reason to work too hard, either.
I only wound up getting dances from one dancer because of the waits to get the most attractive girls' attention. She was a real sweetheart. Came up and talked to me for almost 10 minutes before asking for a dance (despite the aforementioned crowds). Very friendly and so on. The dances were pretty good -- a fair amount of grind, and she acted as if she was into it, although she got tired after just a few dances (can't blame her, they really were busting their asses in there).
All in all it was a very good experience. I would never want to go back there on a Friday or Saturday night, but I have a feeling that it would become one of my favorite clubs on a slower night.

After a Spring Training game i was with my brother. We were is scottsdale, and we were going towards the Dream Palace, but there werent any cars there so we went to Skin, we stroll right in and what do you know No Cover charge, that was good. i walk in wearing my stunna shades, we sit down its a small place with one Stage, there was a few dancers in there cute ones. a couple songs went by "Brooke" came by and ask me for a dance, she gave me some dances and i got all the grinding and she was working her magic.

Rip off Artists.... They charge what every they want to your credit card and then threaten you with police action when you dispute the charge. The owner of the club is nothing but scum. And in time like all scum he will sink to the bottom of the pond.

I was in Scottsdale for a conference and some of guys I was with wanted to check out the local scene. From what we gathered from some locals, there isn’t much to speak of in Scottsdale itself in terms of clubs, the strip variety. Nonetheless, we ventured out one night to check out the sights and sounds and ended up going to Skin. Driving on North Scottsdale Road, we almost missed it except that they have one of the busiest parking lots, albeit small, on that street.

The place is small, but pretty nice inside. They apparently remodeled the place in the recent past and it still looks fresh. Lot of dancers ranging from 7s and up and there were plenty of different types to pick from. They were all pretty friendly too when approaching you for LDs as opposed to some places where the girls just come up to you and say “Wanna dance?”. I think we each ended up getting quite a few LDs that night so everyone was happy.

Skin was a pleasant surprise for the evening.

The club is a large square with two stages that I remember (a main stage and a very small satellite stage at the back of the club, which is where you walk in). Mirrors in the front make the club seem larger than it is in size. In Scottsdale, as far as I can tell, there aren't too many choices in terms of clubs (just this one and Babes, which is being renamed, I believe, since Jenna Jameson took it over). In any event, the women here are relatively attractive and give pretty good lap dances. There are some open booths off to the side of the main floor, which are considered the VIP areas. They provide you with a little bit more privacy. However, other than dances, don't expect anything "extra" to happen at the club, generally. Some of the women seemed like they might be available for take-out if they got to know you a bit. Overall, a good club to spend a couple of hours.

Small but very classy. Lots of girls...most in the 7 and above range. Went there with a couple of work buddies, one who just got engaged. Had lots of lap dances from a variety of girls who each had a signature move. My buddies and I usually come up with nicknames for the girls (i.e. Barbi, Electra, Punisher, Acrobat and so forth). I think if you take the time to talk to the girls and not be so grabby, they'll typically be more friendly. Have them sit on your lap and while waiting for the current song to end, make them feel at ease...be funny...make them laugh....say something about their outfit or something. Anyways, back to the girls. There was something for everybody, from tall siliconed blondes to super sexy euro brunettes to exotic amerasians to girl next door types. I think between the 3 of us, we must've had over half the girls there. There's this one really cute 'girl next door type' who moved like water...so sensual and the deepest blue eyes and she had one of those signature moves. She starts with her straddling you, soft kisses behind the ear(yours), a quick peck on the corner of your lips...she continues to slither down your chest and nips at you every once in awhile. Finally she's on her knees between your legs and she looks up at you with those deep blue eyes...she puts her throat on your member and she starts humming/vibrating her throat on it while at the same time looking up as if looking for approval. It was definitely approved =). We basically kept her around since she was so talented and cute =). Sorry guys,can't remember her name. All in all, a good fun night in Scottsdale.

Went in on a thursday night and it was dead. Only 7 other paying customers. Dancers were in the 5-9 range and getting better looking the longer I stayed by far. Dances were extremely tame and no roaming was allowed. Very small place, making it harder to get lost from the roaming bouncers also. I went but wont go back.

I was there about two weeks ago, the layout is nice , smaller club good staff. Now on to the important things... The girls most of the girls working on that night were 7-9, with 2 9.5's (nobody is perfect). The pressure to get a lap is not bad, but there. Most of them will sit on your lap and wait for the next song to begin, a few left a came back. As with all clubs some girls let you get away with more than others, it was no different here. My dances ranged from total hands off (on my part), to feel free as long as the bouncer doesn't see my hands. The club is very loud, make sure you don't sit along the back wall with the speaker you won't be able to hear for a few days. We went on a Thurs. night, got there a little late and had to sit right by the speaker. you might want to get there early. There is one stage, that the girls dance on for two songs, the second one is when they drop the top. Over all it was fun, and next time I'm in Az. you can bet I'll be going there again.

Club was alright. It was a little small with only a few girls I would classify above a 8. I got a few dances but overall would think Babe's down the road is a better choice of venue.

I visited on a Thursday afternoon recently. There are only a couple of clubs in Scottsdale, this and Babe Caberet, and they are only a few blocks apart.

The club is a small concrete building. Based on the condition of the entrance and of the parking lot, one would expect a very seedy place. Inside, however, it's not so bad. The club is very small -- this would be a problem on a weekend night, I'm sure. It has one long stage; there are tables all around the stage, and chairs at the edge for lap dances. There are two VIP rooms, which were not in use when I was there. There is a (full) bar at the entrance end.

Drink service was very prompt and the waitresses were stunning.

Each girl did two songs on stage. I saw about four dancers, all in the 6-8 range. None of the dancers appear over 30, and there is a good variety of "types." I had a lap dance from a slender young blonde. Mileage was on the high side -- no sign of any heavy handed city interference. Much to my pleasant surprise, lap dances are only $10 -- a great deal throughout the land.

This bar might be frustrating if it's too crowded for you to get a table, but in general I'd recommend it.

I made another visit to Skin last week, it was on a midweek evening, I would call it an okay visit, nothing sensational, nothing greatly disappointing either. We paid the $10 cover, had no problem finding a table, the waitstaff was very friendly and efficient (and very good looking). I'd put the majority of the dancers in the 6-8 range (no real stunners, but also no fuglies), all were also very pleasant to deal with and we got no real hard press for dances from any of them which I greatly appreciate. The dances were not bad, much better than you get at Babe's down the street, but still not what I would consider high mileage. Minor gripe, I did find the music much too loud, it really did make it difficult to hold a decent conversation. Also beware if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night, the place is very small and it can be a problem finding a seat (unless you want to payoff one of the bouncers).

Just an average club. I was not too impressed. A few 7's but mostly 3-5's. I did have a couple of dances, I don't remember the names. One had a little more mileage, the other was pretty lame. I think I would stay away. I am new to the area and will keep looking.

I stopped by this club today and knew something was up because the parking lot was nearly empty. The only person inside was the bartender. No dancers. No waitress. No customers.

What I later found out was that the Scottsdale City Council met last night and implemented a rule that requires the dancer to stay 4 feet from the customer. The owners for the two Scottsdale clubs (including Jenna Jameson from Babes Cabaret !) told the council that this rule would effectively put them out of business. Based on what I saw, it has.

These clubs had been in business for years, decades, serving locals and winter visitors. There had never been any problem but the recent purchase of Babes by Jameson raised the club's visibility and got some "community activists" excited. There's a lesson here somewhere.

I've never given a '10' so this is as high as I go until I have a truely lifechanging experience. Got to the club Tuesday night at 8 or so. It's on the south end of Scottsdale not too far from Babe's (which is now owned by Jenna Jameson someone told me). I have to say right up front that this place had the hottest waitresses I've ever seen. I would have loved a dance with them. There are two stages. The girls start at the main stage and move to a very small stage in front of the bar. I sat at the bar, watched the girls from afar for the first dance and let them come to me, so to speak. I was impressed with the quality and the friendliness of the girls. I'd say the range was 7-9. Almost all young (two in the early 30s but VERY well preserved) and tight. Zero scags. Laps are $10 (which I was told is the norm unless you go way out to the desert where it is $5) and hourly 2-for-1s. I found nothing 'arm's length' about the dances. This is not Mitchell Brothers so I didn't get the impression it was an 'extras' place but I don't look for that really anyway. Not high pressure at all but girls were certainly available. Perfect for me. I hate the pressure but I don't want to have to beg either. I did 5 dances. Even tipping extra, that ran me $50. High value. The milage was great. Grindage, tits in the face, etc although my hands were quiet. So, cute friendly, sexy young girls, clean environment, friendly employees and bartenders, smoking hot waitresses, great laps. I can't wait to go back.

Recently went to skins. I have heard a lot of good things from friends and from friends of friends. So I decided to check it out. Went on an early Friday evening and it was starting to get real busy. The girls were a mixed bag when it comes to hottness. It was a range of 3-7 with one really hot blonde 10. I didn't partake in any dances because I learned from one of the girls that there were some new rules handed down by management regarding dancing distance. She told me it was "arms length." Not exactly sure what she meant. Apparently Scottsdale is getting, or is real strict. No touching is no fun so I will look for clubs that are a little more exciting. I am not putting down the club, it is not their fault, they are just a causulty of their location. It is a really nice club but I am looking for a little more. Its great for those who just want to sit back and watch. By the way, the girl I was talking to was moving on to the Alaskan Bush Co. Perhaps thats why she shared that info with me. Her name was Danielle, pretty hot girl. I'll have to visit her out there.

Went to Skin on a recent Saturday night. MY girlfriend and I have been looking for a club in Phoenix area that is couple friendly. Skin was recommended by somebody, so we gave it a try. Sorry to say that Saturday night was probably the wrong time to go. We paid $20 to get in and quickly discovered this rather small club was packed, with no tables available, and nobody trying to help us get seated. We hung around for a few minutes. My impression was too few girls for the big crowd there that night. Might be worth a visit some other time. We left after 5 minutes, kind of pissed.

I stooped by on a hot Sepetember evening (105 degrees at 8:30 PM!!!) a couple of weeks ago. All I have to say was that the ladies were as hot as the outside temperature. I had a couple of air dances with a hispanic girl, but it was air and not worth sitting air afterwards so I bailed to the comfort of my A/C hotel room. I gave it a 6 because I still had a decent time, but it wasn't a fantastic bang for the buck. Maybe weekends?

Dropped by Skin yesterday, Monday night (after memorial day weekend). As expected the club was a little slow but in my opionion not too bad a customer count for a post holiday monday night. About 10 girls were working and they ranged from 6-9. Really good looking girls here, not quite as young as Christies II but overall better looking. Music was typical strip club, but there are 2 video screens that play the music video along with the song. Drinks were priced higher than most clubs ($9.00 tall Vodka redbull). I had a chance to chat with several of the girls and they were all pretty good conversationalists. Particularly enjoyed the tall brunette that I spoke with (Layla). Purchased some dances from her and was not disappointed at all. I also bought 2 dances from a blonde girl named Tantiana who gave a decent dance. Overall the place was very nice, good atmosphere, friendly and attentive servers, good looking girls, and good dances. It is a small club so I can only imagine it on the weekends (way too packed i'd assume), but I tend to avoid the clubs on weekends anyway.

My last review of this place wasn't exactly glowing but I still decided to give it another try, I must admit that I had a much better time on this visit. It probably helped that we were able to get good seats this time and that there were also a lot more girls working (no one below a 7, most in the 8-9 range). The club still has it's faults, size being the main one, but if you can get a good seat you should have no trouble having a good time.

Visited the club while in town for Spring Training games...Really fun atmosphere, many attractive girls and had no complaints when it came to the dances...Unexpected intelligent conversation and humor on top of the sensual dance (courtesy of Mirella) was a definite bonus...I highly recommend this club and look forward to going back.

Visited the club on consecutive Sunday and Monday nights while on business. Had a good but different time both nights. Sunday was "free" lap dance night, where the ladies were basically lapping for tips. Spending $10 a dance, we seemed like players, and were more than satisfied my the entertainment. The drinks were very reasonable, and the talent level was between 6-9. On Monday, the place seemed to turn a little toward the dark side,. the dancers seemed a little more agressive, and tsome seemed to be under the "influence." which made for an interesting yet still a hot noght. A good time either way.

I made another visit to Skin (on Sunday night, 1/16) and I have to say I was very underwhelmed. Parking was once again a pain, the cover charge a bit steep, seating hard to find (which you'd think would be a good sign), the waitstaff very inattentive, I didn't think there were enough dancers working, the appearance of the dancers who were working was only so-so, & the dances themselves were nothing special. This club gets a lot of hype and IMO it's not living up to it, hopefully it was just a bad night, at least I hope so.

the club is a bit small, but it makes for close quarters with the dancers. The girls were pretty attractive, and were friendly. Drinks weren't too expensive, and the other staff, (door, bar) were easygoing and friendly as well. All in all, a VERY hot evening with girls that had all the right moves and were reasonably good looking.

Visited the club November 18, a Tuesday around 5PM. The place is a good size, with three dance stages and what appears to be a small VIP balcony. I didn't inquire about the VIP. As I walked in, there was no cover charge. Bottled beer was less than $5. Surprisely, the place had a good number of patrons. The dozen or so dances stayed busy. Kelly had 4 dances for me at $10 each song. Songs were averaging around 3.5 minutes apiece. Kelly dance real good, with just enough contact to make it worthwhile. The dances are not like those in Tampa, but for Arizona standards they were good. Had a good time and would recommend checking the place out if you're ever out in Scottsdale driving on Scottsdale Road.

Visited during weeknight, Tuesday, November 16th around 5 PM. There place is a good size and surprisely the place was fairly busy. No cover charge in the late afternoon, and bottle beer cost less than $5. I got about 4 dances from Kelly. The dances were exellent by Arizona standards, good contact and just the right amount of grinding to keep one wanting more dances. The dances are not like those in Tampa, but heck, at $10 a pop, they are a good buy. I liked the place, no one hassled for dances or more drinks, and a big plus, you don't have any big bouncer walking around
peeking every which way. The place is real laid back and an exellent place to enjoy a drink and some friendly neighborhood topless dancing. I would rate Kelly an 8, all the way around.

Went on a recent Friday night, nice little club, I'd recommend it even though it has it's faults. Positives: the girls were very attractive (mostly 8-9's, a few 7's), dances were decent for Scottsdale (i.e. better than Babe's). Negatives: parking is a chore, $10 cover was a bit steep, the place is really small and cramped, when it's busy it can be tough to find a spot to sit, there were too many pretty (i.e. pretentious) people in there just hanging out on my last visit, and worst of all (at least for customers) I thought there really weren't enough dancers in there, we went in there with lots of money to spend and left with most it.

I went here on a Tuesday afternoon, about 1 pm. Usually when I go to clubs, the last things on my mind are eating and drinking, but I have to say that the buffet lunch was surprisingly good. The drinks were generous as well, and reasonably priced. But I digress. . . .

The seating area near the stage was practically empty, allowing close access to the dancers. When I obtained a lap dance, I took the ladies to a more remote and private area farther away. This worked out quite well. I had several dances from a beautiful blond named Nikita and several more from a brunette named Chloe. Contact was pretty good, but friendliness and overall comfort level was outstanding. I will definitely come back.

Only downside is that they have a video and music system that is obviously the object of the deejay's passion. The music was cranked way too loud, and was almost 100% heavy metal, not the best for dancing. Please, guy, try the subtle approach.

This club now offers $5 laps every day before 6pm... the day shift overall is not the quality of Fri/Sat night girls, but there are always at least a couple girls worth visiting.

On a Sunday afternoon there was only a single dancer. No admission and free barbeque (pork, beef and chicken) sandwiches with two drink purchase ($5-6 each). Two for one on draft beers and sodas. The decor in this medium size club which has been open about a year is nice.

I have been to this club three times now, usually in the late afternoon. Each time I saw about 5-6 girls working, ranging from 5-8 in looks. The girls were all friendly, but the mileage was rather low with some contact but not sustained for any extended time. Better than Babes in terms of dances, but Babes has better looking girls (fake personalities of course).

For reference, I have been to about half of the strip clubs in the Phoenix area as well as several in the south Florida area.

I went to Skin for new year's and was very dissapointed with the selection of dancers. However, I'll cut them some slack for it having been a holiday and maybe no one wanted to work. On the plus side, went again last night and had a terrific time. Several good looking dancers, 7-9's, especially Raven...she's the main purpose of this review. She was very attracive, friendly, and gave a great dance. Highly recommend.
