I stopped by Double D's on my way to Fantasia lasst Saturday evening, thinking there probably wouldn't be anything worth while there. Because I knew I would find plenty of dancers at Fantasia, I was hoping things have changed at Double D's.

There were 5-6 dancers working there. That's an improvement. I say dancers, none were dancing on stage during my short visit. Music was playing from the jukebox however. All the girls were at the bar either talking to customers, or just talking to one another.

I drank one beer and left. That was the high point of my visit. The beer was cold.

What can I say, on the way back from fantasia i dropped in this place for about 15 minutes. Just long enough to down a bottle of water and to know that there wasn't anything that I was interested in here. There were 5 dancers?? (no one went on stage while I was there) none rated above a 3 (imho) fat or old or both. They were friendly though. The place did have a full bar and I'm sure the mileage was as high as you would want, but I did not see anyone that I would consider doing a vip with. Based on previous reviews the night shift must be better (I would hope). I would pass this place by on a day trip. As always YMWV.

Dropped by Double D's on the way to my favorite club down the road. Pleasantly surprised by the number and quality of dancers on a Thursday evening. Of the six or seven dancers there, all but one were worth the cover ($0). And for those of you more familiar with Double D's back in better days, Amber is back. Since dancer drinks are priced the same as patron's, buy her one and see how much she appreciates it. Worth a stop on your way by to see who is there and what kind of night it can be.

Club is divided into an area around the stage including six or seven tables and a raised up area against one wall enclosed by sheer curtains with a couple of VIP couches inside. There is a half-hight divider between the stage area and the bar area, which includes an L-shaped bar and three pool tables. They have upgraded to a big screen TV against the back wall. The men's room is still as nasty as ever.

This has got to be one of the lowest quality clubs in Huntsville. Arrived around 8-8:30 p.m. No dancers were on stage. The club is separated into a bar area and a stage area by a half wall. You enter into the bar area. I bought a beer and sat at the bar to get bearings of the club. Heard girls in the stage area talking and saw movement…good sign. I went and sat at a table in the stage area and one of the dancers got on stage and did a fair job with her song selection. Both girls were on the heavy side, but friendly. I try to say something positive about every club I visit. But I can’t say too much positive about this one. I wouldn’t waste my time when there are better ones in town.

Finally went to this club on Tuesday night (Nov. 6) to see if it was as bad as the reviews tend to indicate. The place is a hole in the wall type place and watch your back ( bring a friend). The dances are from 1-4. No pasties just bikini bottoms. They do give lapdances but right in front of everyone not good. From what I wanted to see it was all air. The gimick ast this club is $5.00 shooters for the ladies. Advice go to any other club or stay home and save your time and money. But the beer was cold. Restrooms nasty.

Been in for a couple of visits since my last review. Monday & Thursday, but not in the same week. Things are further downhill than ever. The few dancers there were not very attractive (that's putting it nicely), so I didn't stick around long at all. The DJ/bouncer guy in the booth next to the door didn't seem surprised or upset at all, but more like my reaction has been the norm lately. Where are the little hotties like Amber, Blue or even Holly? You never know what you'll find here in terms of dancer quantities and quality, but lately things seem to be more standardized, which isn't good.

Stopped by Double D's Friday night while in Huntsville. No cover is a good thing here. Small club with one stage. No VIP area that I could see. No dancers I would take to one either. 3-4 girls working - all in the 3-4 range. Didn't stay long enough to get a dance. Did see one dancer on stage. She did an okay job on stage.


My last few visits to Double D's have left a bit to be desired. The quality of dancers wasn't as good as earlier visits. On one visit there was really nothing worth keeping me there and I left shortly after arriving. On another about half the dancers were reasonably attractive, but there weren't many customers in the dance area, so two-thirds of the time no one was on stage, and I couldn't interest the dancer I wanted into a dance (she spent the entire time I was there trying to seduce the former DJ who happened to be there for his first visit since he quit/got fired. She must have believed his bs about how much money he was making since he had to get a real job.). There WAS an absolutely SMOKIN' bartender in little pink Corona shorts who used her ass to twist the cap off bottles of beer...

Basically, I visit Double-D's with the expectation that it will probably dissapoint before moving on somewhere else nearby. The occaissional exception, however, makes it worth checking by when in the area.

Dropped by recently for a visit to check out Double D's. It is really more of a bar/pool room with a section on one end with a stage for bikini dancers. Nicer inside than the impression from outside indicates, but that's not saying a whole lot. Crowd seemed mainly 20-30ish sports bar type clientele, most of which stayed around the large L-shaped bar , played pool (3 or 4 tables) or watched ESPN on the only TV (about a 25"). Patrons would occassionally get up and go tip a dancer, usually the one sitting with them when not performing (boyfriends/SO's?). There were 3-4 patrons in the stage area watching the rotation on stage and tipping some of the dancers regularly. Out of the seven or so girls there when I visited about 9-11pm on a Thursday, there where 3 7-8's, a 5 and the rest I didn't want to look at long enough to assess an accurate rating. Yikes! But it was worth sitting through those to see the good ones. Most did a decent stage dance and received stageside tips in the garter. Some incidental contact during the tip process, but nothing major. Girls will come sit with you and let you buy them a drink- same prices as customer drinks. All the girls I spoke with seemed fairly friendly. They do offer "private" dances, but they're done in the area of the club near the stage, not in any private or VIP type area. I was quoted $20 a song by dancer I got several from, but wound up negotiating a little better "volume" price, then tipped nicely in appreciation of a job well done. Based on observation of others, mileage varied greatly both by dancer and for whom she was dancing. If the right girls are there (Blue, Amber, Destiny), it's worth checking out, just don't go in with sky high expectations in terms of numbers of very attractive dancers or off-the-scale mileage. No cover charge the night I was there. Don't know about other times.

Here is a one word description for this place........YIKES!!! If you value your eye-site then DO NOT go here. This little 'hole in the wall' joint is horrible. The girls (if thats what you want to call them) are mostly geriatrically old with sagging boobs and missing teeth. I guess they are just good 'ol country girls, but they need to wise up and get a new profession cuz topless dancing is definately not for them. The place has a real biker bar feel and the few customers that were there appeared to be regulars. To top it all off, the whole place has a bad smell, kinda like body odor (of the personal type). YUCK! There are plenty of nicer places in the area where you can go to have a good time....pick any of them, please!! :-)

Went on a Minday evening about 11pm. There was only 3 cars outside. Inside, there was 1 customer and 2 dancers, neither on stage, neither attractive.
A dumpy place. Left immediately.

The only good thing I can say about this club is that I didn't get in a fight or get mugged.

To be fair I was there at an off time. 5 pm on a Thursday.

Not a pricy place. Drinks were cheap. 3-4 dancers were there, some fairly decent (6-7), some not (1-3).

There were several regulars there....looks like they had been there a while spending their money on the beer not the dancers.

One of the dancers was drunk in a shouting match with one of the regulars.

No one on stage. I was there a half an hour. Made some eye contact, tipped the bartender... no one would approach me.

I would give this one a pass. I don't think it would be any better on a weekend night. If you are local and wanted to make it your hang out I would suggest you get a hobby of somekind.
